    I spent 1 hour and 2 minutes on hold this morning trying to speak to a receptionist to try and make an appointment. When I finally got through she claimed she couldn't hear me and put the phone down. The system for getting an appointment is ridiculous and the reception staff are rude and unhelpful. This is not the first time I have had a lengthy wait, but it has never been this bad.

    I just wanted to put on record my experiences in dealing with Dr Thekla Christodoulou - which were exceptional. I was hugely impressed by her ability to explain and discuss my medical conditions, her perception and also her pro-active approach to tackling future issues. Not only did she give me huge confidence going forward but also made the experience enjoyable and positive. An exceptional Doctor - thank you!

    Didn’t feel that needed to see a doctor but wanted some advice regarding a rash. Phoned and spoke to helpful receptionist who sent me a link to upload a photo. A few hours later a doctor phoned me, confirmed diagnosis and an hour later prescription waiting for me. I don’t expect healthcare to offer such an on demand service like Amazon as it’s far too complex for that but this really was impressive service and good use of NHS resources. Thanks!!

    This is such a fantastic practice with kind and caring staff. I know everyone works incredibly hard but my patient access takes such a long time to be updated. Otherwise such brilliant care

    I called on Friday morning with persistent cough over 3 months and I was given an appointment within 3 hours to see a doctor. The doctor was really approachable, caring and listened to my concerns. the doctor was really supportive and arranged an x-ray straight away (very impressed) when everyone is under great stress in the caring sector.     I have used the services at the practice sporadically over the past 8 years but have always had a positive experience. Even during COVID restrictions I feel the practice rose to the challenge of communicating with patients in new ways online. I am a fan of the system of providing photos/more details to queries and the way prescriptions are managed. General Practice is being given a hard time in the press but I would recommend Barlow Medical Centre to anyone.
