Cannot get a face to face appointment with a doctor. They are,however, doing well at diverting patients to pharmacists and nurses as an alternative.

GPs have been hard to recruit (this is a national problem). We have therefore worked hard to train all staff to signpost to other healthcare professionals who may be able to help with patients problems. These professionals are all supervised by GPs. We are also pleased to say that we will be increasing our regular GP numbers in January - we have a new GP Partner joining us and a salaried GP returning from maternity leave. I had a routine blood test, which was worrying, they pulled out all the stops for me, Hospital appointments etc. Always felt that they had my back, still undergoing treatment now, and all do very nice and feeling towards both me and my wife who was at breaking point with worry. Thank you so much.

I went to the surgery on 04 October and was given an appointment that afternoon. The excellent doctor diagnosed a hydrocele. An appointment for an ultrasound scan arrived on 06 October. Absolutely brilliant.

Visited Wedmore surgery as we were not sure how to book a face to face appointment and the receptionist was very helpful. She not only explained the process but also booked an appointment for me.

I am new to the area and although I have registered online it wasn’t obvious how to make an appointment. The receptionist was very helpful and explained the process and also booked the first available appointment for me.

Prompt response (ie doctor or another medical practitioner called) for both myself and another member of my family within the last week after doing two separate e-consults. My husband had the same experience earlier in the year. This triage system works well.
