  1. Review titled So much better than my last surgery

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Just moved into Sandbach and wow - what an amazing surgery. Ok it took me a couple of days to get seen for a routine issue but I was seen by a great GP - I was sent for blood and and ECG neither of which I could have at my last practice and Ive been back to discuss them and had a great explanation of what's going on. If only all practices were like this.

  2. Review titled Very helpful

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I recently had an examination relating to a painful knee joint. I was avised to do certain exercises and to remain active when possible. The advice was spot on and after only a few days of the simple exercises my pain was a lot better. Thank you very much for your help.

  3. Review titled Good GP practice

I needed a gp appointment to discuss some concerning results. The staff on the phone sorted the appointment and the GP was excellent in how she dealt with the results and next steps .

  4. Review titled Fantastic care received

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I rang and spoke to a lovely receptionist. I told her a brief description of my health concern and an appointment was booked for me immediately. I attended the appointment and the GP was really thorough in examining me. Within two hours of leaving the surgery I was in receipt of a blood test appointment (one day later) and an ultrasound scan (two days later) Absolutely incredible service. I can't thank everyone enough.

  5. Review titled Awful time management and service

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anthony Raine - Posted on 15 April 2024

I've sadly had to visit this place twice this week both times they are running at least 45 minutes late. I think it's disgusting everyone is expected to turn up on time, yet they cannot be bothered to keep to their own time frame, it's rude and a shocking service. Not to mention the times I have been here in the past and just pied off with a false diagnoses, I refuse to see a particular doctor for this reason. Thanks to him I suffered 11 years with joint pain as I had actually broken my clavical yet I was told it was simply a trapped nerve. Never again will I settle and have faith someone paid so much knows what they are doing in their line of work.

  6. Review titled getting worse

Rated 3 stars out of 5

I dont understand why it is so difficult to book an appointment nowadays. I've just rang to book an appointment, explained the problem I'm having, and I was told I've got to call back in 2 days to be able to book an appointment for 2 weeks away, really? She had a date that the doctor was free but I'm nit allowed to book it until Thurs, makes no sense.

  7. Review titled Impossible to book an appointment for a child

Rated 3 stars out of 5

Lack of a clear booking system. Trying for two days to book an appointment for a 5 year old. Being told no appointments on the day and need to ring in the morning (which at 8 is already more than 20 in a que), cannot book next day either unless coming to Reception or staying on the phone. Unable to send pictures and getting at least a call back from a doctor (apparently that was ok during Covid but now too complicated). Being told 'you know, we have 30,000 patients'. Guess prevention and care for children is a lucky draw!

  8. Review titled Hopeless reception staff

Rated 1 star out of 5

Keep getting unwanted / unsolicited texts from this practice. Asked to be taken off their list for such messages, then asked that they remove my phone number altogether from their records. Still getting texts and calls from them. Clueless!

  9. Review titled Compassionate and understanding

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I cannot fault the care we received from Ashfields yesterday. The receptionist (or I think what’s now known as a care navigator) went out of her way to ensure I could make an urgent appointment for my husband and the doctor was extremely understanding and gave him a lot of her time even though I’m sure it was outside her normal working hours. In my opinion they went above and beyond what might be expected and I am extremely grateful.

  10. Review titled Awful receptionist

Rated 4 stars out of 5

Trying to book an appointment to see if a wound is infected. I was told wait for a week, ring 111 or go to Leighton hospital 5 miles away. I suggested a nurse may help but to no avail. Fortunately I asked for a supervisor who offered a nurse. Perhaps the receptionist needs to be informed its not an emergency now but an infected wound can be one if left untreated. I was gobsmacked. It's a shame as the doctors are wonderful.
