Outstanding combination of total professional competence with genuine friendliness. The whole continuing process of treatment has been flawless, effective and timely. Could not ask for more. Excellent.

  2. Review titled 1.5hr wait for scheduled appointment

Rated 1 star out of 5

Appointment scheduled for my 7wk old baby, not seen on time by 1.5hrs. Receptionist would not help with resolving this issue. Did not bring milk for baby as was deemed a 'quick review. So baby in distress waiting..not acceptable to leave a baby waiting with no milk.

  3. Review titled Terrible

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I haven’t seen a doctor since moving here 15 months ago. I had a medication review in January and I rang in June for an appointment just to speak on the phone and it was a week before I could get an appointment. The doctor rang me early and couldn’t get me off the phone quick enough I was given one minute of his time and he said “thank you good bye” and hung up

We are sorry you felt let down by this. We are short of GPs across the whole country and this means waiting times have increased - which none of us wish to see. We are trying our hardest to do all we can for our patients and we hope the situation improves soon.

  4. Review titled Blood results

Rated 4 stars out of 5

Have phoned for my blood results...once seen by a doctor, for over 12 months. Was told yesterday by irate receptionist that this no longer possible as they had changed the rules. I had to come down specially and get a printed result. Did this and was told by lovely receptionist that this was not true, and I could still get results over phone?????

Thank you for your comment. If the GP has seen the results and added a comment if they are normal or not then our team can advise you on the phone. If the GP has not yet commented then our team won't be able to pass on a comment. You can get copies of your results printed out. We hope results may be available on the NHS App soon as well so this will be easier for you.

  5. Review titled Harassment

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have received numerous (more than 10) unsolicited text messages from Ashtrees Surgery asking me to book an appointment with them for a Covid 19 jab. I am not one of your patients, have not had any of my Covid jabs there and do not wish to have one there. I spoke to the receptionist, who was abrupt and stated that I was not the only person to have received such texts. I asked her to ensure that the texts stop. She informed me that this wasn’t possible and that I should block the texts. I informed her that I had already blocked Ashtrees Surgery but was still receiving the requests. She stated that she couldn’t offer any further assistance. Please make this stop. if not, I will take it to the information commissioner’s office.

We are very sorry this happened to you and that the receptionists was abrupt. Some of these text messages were sent by an external NHS body which we had no control over. We do not think this is happening now but do let us know if it does occur.
