    I was in pain due to a urinary infection and the 2 members of reception staff I spoke to were very kind and helpful. I successfully was referred to a doctor and got a prescription.

    I want to cancel my GP appt for Tuesday 15th November. I have spent 50 mins on the phone to try to do this in the afternoon and this morning when I phoned it said I was number 30+ so I gave up. Please cancel the appointment. There is no option available to do this online.

    I just want to thank the team at Bridport Medical Centre and especially the Nurse Practitioner I met with today. (Not meant to name names, so I won't!) I have concerns about some new intense joint pain. After using the E-Consult online process, I received a face to face appointment with a nurse practitioner for the following week. I have just come from that appointment where I was able to discuss my symptoms and confirm that the first step is to have several blood tests to rule out (or in) various conditions. I feel relieved and grateful that I have been able to begin to access information that will enable me to make informed choices about health care and lifestyle. I want to let you know how much I appreciate you all. With all the pressures the NHS is experiencing, and the challenges of figuring out how to use the (limited) resources available, and to try to take advantage of the (potential) benefits of new technologies - while not losing the benefit of human to human interaction - it leaves me speechless. Particularly as someone who is American by birth (and knows what it is like to not have health care because it's un-affordable), I value this more than I can express.
