  2. Review titled Well organised practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Diana Squire - Posted on 24 September 2023

Having attended the Surgery on a Saturday morning to receive a flu vaccination I found an extremely well organised procedure in place. Having booked in I was not kept waiting long before being told which room to go to, the nurse administering the vaccine was very friendly answering my questions fully. An administrator updated my medical records as the procedure was completed.

I was invited to book an appointment for my annual flu vaccination and to have my Pneumonia vaccination on Saturday 16th September 2023. I would like to say how brilliant this was. It was well organised, no delays, and all the staff were very friendly and kind. Thankyou to all the staff involved, in organising this vaccination session.

The practise organised a Saturday clinic for all patients over 65. Really well organised with loads of staff. No waiting and adequate space in the car park. Everyone happy to to see us and made us welcome. Well done Alpine House.

  5. Review titled Efficient vaccination clinics!

Rated 5 stars out of 5

They organise quick, efficient and friendly vaccination clinics, such as the one I was invited to this morning for my flu jab. This is just one example of what is a very good Practice, overall.

  6. Review titled Efficient

Rated 4 stars out of 5

Only for flu jab but it was quick and efficient with very clear guidance and smiling staff When booking for other needs the triage system seems to work well but the delay in answering the phone is very long and therefore expensive

  7. Review titled Excellent appointment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Steve Mitchell - Posted on 21 September 2023

I was experiencing some pain in my abdomen and thought I would need to seek some medical advice. I called into the surgery , gave a brief description to the receptionist and was offered an appointment within 20 minutes with the practice paramedic. She gave me an examination and some health advice and booked me a further appointment with a doctor. A few days elapsed and I saw a doctor who then referred me on to a consultant. This is the local GP surgery and the NHS working at its best. Thank you.

  8. Review titled Speedy service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Steve Mitchell - Posted on 16 September 2023

I suspected that I had a urinary infection, rang the practice gave brief details and was asked to take in a urine sample. I did that by 9.00am. By 11.00am a doctor rang back and confirmed that I had indeed urinary infection. I was prescribed some antibiotics and the details were sent through to my local pharmacy and by noon I had started the first course of medicine. 3 hrs from handing in my sample to taking the first tablet. Fantastic. Thankyou
