    Today I met a new GP for the first time. She was friendly and professional. My problem was dealt with to my complete satisfaction. The new GP was a credit to herself and your team.

    The Almondsbury Surgery provided a great experience during my last visit there, for my flu vaccination and Covid booster. The staff were, as always, helpful, efficient and courteous.

    I am really impressed with the surgery’s adoption and implementation of the new Anima system. It is really easy to use and has provided me with timely access to a Doctor which I have now done on a couple of occasions. The service I have then received can only be described as 1st class. Thank you so much to the whole team in Almondsbury who, in my experience, demonstrate the absolute best in healthcare provision.

    Almondsbury Surgery is always very friendly and helpful. I have been visiting the surgery last few weeks, the doctors were very helpful. Before my first visit I wasn't aware of online booking system, I called the surgery for appoinment the reception lady explain me the new system but I was very ill to do that so she did fill the form over the phone with me. Thank you all.

    I used the eConsult process for the first time and it was brilliant. I filled in the form in the evening, and by 9am the next morning I had a long text from the gp explaining how my prescription would change, what to look out for and what to do next. And instantaneously the details were updated on the NHS app so I could get the new medication. When the new technologies work like this, it's amazing. Thank you.

    Called to get an appointment for my child who was in some pain. Phone permanently engaged, so we had to visit the surgery. The receptionist curtly reeled off all well the rehearsed lines ‘You should have phoned earlier for appointment’ (we tried), ‘we are extremely busy’, ‘we have run out of appointments for the day’ etc. Anyway, after this unnecessary charade, we were put on the triage list. The doctor called us and hung up when we answered. I returned the call and after reaching the end of the menu system, the phone hung up again. Third time I got to reception who told me I had to wait for doctor to call me back. In the end it turned out there was an appointment for us and the doctor was good. Why all the unnecessary games to get an appointment when the energy could be spent on patient focused activity?
