35 mins of repeat dialing and then in the Q for 45 mins only for receptionist to go Hello then hang up. Meds missing from prescription, and missing from repeat so cannot order online. Just totally frustrated.

  3. Review titled New System Total Waste of Time.

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Stephen Todd - Posted on 14 September 2023

To book a telephone appointment you have to phone first thing in the morning or go in person to the surgery at 8.00 a.m. The telephone is constantly engaged, I don't drive and the bus 'service' will not get me there early. The website is very limited and badly organised, even booking prescribed medication is far from desirable. Such a shame this practice was fantastic till August.

  4. Review titled Phones lines are always busy, appointments always gone

Rated 1 star out of 5

Would never recommend Alma Medical, you can't get appointments, told to phone, lines always busy and cost a fortune when left on hold, you call in and appointments gone, no matter what they tell you, you do what they say, and No appointments, this isn't good when you have so many help problems, left being told to go to a pharmacy, It's a Dr, I need not a pharmacist, I know how the NHS works, I know how health problems work, so why am I left to treat myself because my Dr's are taking on new patients but, can't see those with severe medical issues. I always seem to get appointments to other practices, they don't know you, your medication, nothing. 1* is all it's worth here.
