Review titled Utterly Disgrace Practice
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 06 February 2024
the receptionist are very rude when answering the phone. i was speaking politely and softly over the phone. In a rude tone the receptionist answered and said, “speak louder i can’t even hear your voice i speak really quietly”. i then told her my voice is always like this, when i spoke louder she said i am speaking very loudly and rudely and my voice of tone has changed. i understand that I have a voice issue but the person talking to me over the phone doesn’t seem to understand my condition. while speaking to the receptionist i mentioned to her that i have a network connection problem due to the weather so please try to understand. the the phone got disconnected. i logged in to my online nhs profile. on my record the receptionist has put a load of rubbish which they have mentioned “ i called in today demanding to be booked with the doctor, i explained in a very rudely manner that i was not happy the the recent telephone consultation which I had with a different gp. I was getting very argumentative and aggressive over the phone and I cut the phone off”. Ii am not rude. the tone of my voice is not rude my voice is already like this, therefore i can not change the tone of my voice, however i did not cut the phone off. while i was speaking to the receptionist the phone got cut off. due to the weather conditions. i ring the practice sharp at 8:00am, they refuse to give an appointment with the gp and say that I come and see the gp on a regular basis, and then say that “oh is only doing telephone appointment and no face - to - face - appointment. i explained to the receptionist that if i keep getting flashbacks then i need to be seen by the gp. i also mentioned to them that i rang the specialist up today and they told me that i am on a waiting list until December 2024 - to march 2025. unfortunately they say that “oh i am unable to pre-book appointments and appointments are fully booked, you can’t choose to see the doctor” even though i ring sharp at 8:00am. therefore refuse to give me an appointment with the gp. i went to see the gp for really bad headaches, the gp told me “we all get headaches, be sick, have aches and pains until we die” on the friday 2 february 2024, i was expecting a phone call from the gp, unfortunately the gp did not rang me. whenever i see the gp they always tell me to go private and what can the nhs do for me. honestly i do not recommend the practice to my friends or family. before the pandemic i did not have any problems with the practice but for the past years i have been having problems with the practice, especially with the receptionists and the doctors. the doctors are very good and understanding but sometimes the doctors can be very rude . But during a telephone consultation appointment it is very difficult for me to explain over the phone and also due to network issues. i prefer to be seen face to face.

One of the worst surgery ever, called exactly 8am waited 45 min and then I was told there are no appointments. Similarly I called 2pm and I was on hold for 2 hours and then been told no appointment. I cannot believe what is going and why no one is taking any action against them.

Review titled Terrible service

Took 2 hours on the phone to book an appointment, once appointment was booked, doctor was 20 minutes late to appointment and then told me that a prescription was sent to the chemist. However this was not the case and I've been trying to get this resolved with no help from the surgery and due to their mistakes, I have to wait 5 days before I can get my prescribed medication due to their utter incompetence. I will be deregistering immediately. Avoid if you want good service!
