I contacted gp to get a minor injury looked at and the nurses were not available. A referral was made to them to see my local pharmacy. The pharmacy referred back as I needed items not available over the counter. The gp saw me within a few hours. They placed the prescription to the wrong pharmacy and listed a cream that was discontinued. The pharmacy is now going back to the gp and its a weekend so it's all closed. A drawn out process for a simple cream that i still do not have. I cannot understand how this can happen.

Dear Patient We are sorry to hear that things did not run smoothly for you. It is difficult to comment without more detail. You have posted this anonymously. We would be grateful if you could get in touch with us more directly so that we can look into this and reply more fully. It sounds as if you were directed to the Pharmacy First service. They can prescribe for ailments covered by their training, so I am a bit surprised that this doesn't seem to have happened on this occasion. I am also sorry that things then went wrong regarding the prescription that we then did. Please do feel free to get in contact directly with us and we can then look into this to try to improve services in the future. this surgery gives 100% ,i cannot fault the service after having flu and covid jabs and then 2 days later i had bloods tested all was well organised and smooth running,thank you.

Phoned and gave details. Was seen by GP within half an hour. GP had a wonderful manner and dealt with my problem and set my mind at rest. Cannot ask for more. Reception staff were very polite too. Great service thank you.

I struggled since starting peri menopause the doctors (and all staff) have been amazingly supportive. They listened to what I needed and respected my wishes I can’t thank them enough for their care and for supporting me in getting the treatment I needed

I needed to see if there was any way I could have my booked blood test earlier. Instead of asking me to ring in every day and check for cancellations, which has been my experience elsewhere, I was added to a list and was called the very next day with a cancellation.

Initial telephone consultation from my Doctor very thorough and informative. Procedure carried out by another GP couldn't of been done any more professionally. Superb service all round. Thank you so much to all at Air Balloon Surgery.

recent visit for shingles vacination and pneumonia vacination and blood test nurse i saw was absolutely fantastic but most of all thanks to my doctor for being so good ,please thank her for the care i am receiving you are all doing a great job as i have been a patient there for at least 40 years,i followed from the other surgery ,.

I would like to send in my praise for one of the nurses at this surgery who has been so helpful in helping me deal with my psoriasis. I have seen lots of practitioners over the years about this problem and she was the first one I felt actually understood my condition and was able to provide an excellent treatment for it. On top of that she is always cheerful and friendly. Thank you to all staff at air balloon surgery, I am really happy this is my local surgery.

I have just had a telephone consultation with one of the Dr's. I was extremely anxious about a health concern. The Dr spent time discussing this with me and answering all my questions. She was caring and understanding. I really appreciate the help and support she gave me. Thank you very much.
