The duty of care is appalling even when it is a serious matter .they fail to answer the phone .takes forever.can’t make appointments when attending the surgery.disgusting

We are very sorry to read your feedback, our managing partner Liz Brimacombe would welcome the opportunity to discuss the points you have raised. we are very aware of and take our duty of care to all patients very seriously, our receptionists would not ignore a ringing phone. Our phones, however, are very busy, patient demand is incredibly high and within the resource we have, our receptionists spread their time across all the duties. Our phone systems allows us to monitor all calls and wait times to ensure the resources are appropriately focussed. We use a system called Klinik to help manage our appointment requests, this ensures that requests for contact are appropriately triaged and all patients get to the right place / clinician at the right time and ensures that we meet patients clinical needs. Often an appointment is not the most appropriate thing. Klinik requires no more IT technology than submitting this comment but if a patient does not have access to this technology we can provide it in the surgery - via tablets or reception can either show a patient or submit it for them. In the majority of situations you will get a response from a clinician as to the plan the same day.

Excellent service from all staff. Polite friendly professional & kind staff. Have received face to face appointments when required. Totally recommend this surgery
