I rang for advice, to be told there was nothing they could do to help me, which fair enough, but it was the manner and the tone of the receptionist, and kind of rude of how she spoke. Do not be a receptionist if you cannot speak to people in a professional manner.

I just wish to say how pleased I am with the GP service I have received from my GP at Adam House and all his staff. I had a prompt GP consultation appointment, X-rays (results) and Physio appointment organised by my GP all within a month. Results were passed on to me via a phone call and text. The speed and care in my treatment has been amazing, I am very grateful to this wonderful Surgery and its Staff. Thank You.

Rang at 0800 for appointment as I felt my cancer symptoms had returned. Arranged cover for work for a 0945 appointment, to be told when I arrived that there 4 people in front of me and it’s at least an hour wait. I can acknowledge doctors running late seeing ill people, but then to be told at 0940 the doctor hadn’t started seeing patients yet is unacceptable. My wife had the exact problem last week. Really poor service, the NHS wants us understand how underfunded they are, try starting work on time, this might help your cause. In the meantime, I’ll take my symptoms to A&E and further impact the already overworked and understaffed key frontline workers that do deserve they sympathy and prise for their work.

Doctor carried out a very thorough chest examination and then arranged for me to have a chest X-ray. I was given an appointment 4 days later and had the x ray result (normal) within a week. Excellent experience at Adam House.

The previous few weeks have been traumatic and life changing for us. I have nothing but praise for the Reception staff, Nurses, and doctors at Adam House. My youngest son has been diagnosed with Cancer, and I needed immediate hospital treatment followed by nursing care at the surgery in a regular and ongoing plan. The treatment for my son, which requires several visits a week to both the City Hospital and the QMC, necessitates the issuing and fulfilling of urgent prescriptions which have been given immediate attention by Reception staff. I can't praise enough all those at Adam House for all their pleasant help and attention to our troubles......without their "can do" attitude I hate to think what the situation would have been. As if all that wasn't enough....I'm now waiting for a hospital check for Skin Cancer arranged by the practice. Credit where it's due....many thanks to you all at the practice.

Many GP surgeries have faced criticism due to poor administration, difficulty in getting appointments etc, and general poor service. I am aware that Adam House has had its fair share of criticism. I would like to express my feelings following recent consultations at Adam House and say a big thank you to the whole team there. The new telephony system with the offer of callback has been rapid, effective and efficient. The maximum I waited to get through was a few minutes, and the callback is brilliant. When I was called back (usually no more than 5 minutes), Admin staff were helpful, pleasant and professional. The Consultations I had were thorough, empathetic and gave me full confidence. Thank you again - brilliant!

Amazing how quick I got an appointment to see a dr, I called at 8.00 and seen by 12.00 that day , from the receptionist to the dr and nurse where all very helpful. Thank you
