Not happy at all to be told that you’re going to get treatment from one dentist only to arrive for my appointment to be told he’s not doing because iam excempt from paying which I told him and he still agreed to do it made lots of appointments for treatment now to be told there all cancelled by yourself I have one appointment tomorrow we will see what happens but iam very annoyed with the whole thing iam a very nervous person and to be kept waiting just to be told he’s not going to do it now is disgusting

Both my dentist and his assistant were superb, and the assistant was working under difficult circumstances brought about by staff shortages. All in all, superb.

My tooth broke away on one side and I persevered for a couple of days. It was unbearable today. I couldn’t get through to the practice as they were short staffed, so I decided to get myself there. I’m glad I did as the staff were very attentive and accommodating and had an appointment that had freed up. A big thank you to them all while down on resources, at least I can sleep better tonight.

Review titled Appalling communication

The practice phoned ab hour before my daughter's appointment to say they had to cancel. This appointment was booked months in advance. Reason given, booked in with a non paediatric trained member of staff. Reason given in thier email was unforseen circumstance. How can this be unforseen. They have her date of birth. Why does the booking system not flag that children cannot be seen by certain members of staff and why, did an appointment booked months ago, only get checked an hour before the appointment? Furthermore the receptionist was disinterested and when informed that we were already on route, made to feel stupid by telling us we were an hour early. This is not the first issue with practice for either the children or myself. It's a days pay and a days childcare lost.

Review titled Constant cancellations
Rated 2 stars out of 5

I will preface this review by saying that this dentist practice has been great the times that I have had an appointment. However, the number of cancellations is becoming a joke. I have had the appointments cancelled up to 3 times on multiple occassions. In a few instances I've been told after a cancellation that the next appointment is in 6 months. The cancellations are also often at fairly short notice so I hope you didn't take any time off for them (although I will note that this has improved from the day-of and day before cancellations that used to be common for this practice). It is getting to the point where I book an appointment and just assume I will be talking to a receptionist before it arrives to reschedule it. This leads onto the next problem, the phones are very rarely answered. So you get your text message saying your appointment has been cancelled (likely not for the first time) and then you get to sit on the phone for half an hour hoping to be annoying enough that someone will speak to you to reschedule. I'm aware that dentistry is currently in crisis and there are too many patients and not enough time or resources apparently. But this really doesn't work. Presumably the best way to get an appointment is to play the cancellation game until its urgent and then someone else will get cancelled for you instead!

2nd time I have come and it is not the dentist I have booked for ( who is the only one who does root canals which I’ve been advised I may need) Just get blank looks from dentist and reception when you say that’s not who you were supposed to be booked with. And when you’ve waited 6months to see them it’s not on. They also cancelled my hygienist appointment by text and said they would contact to rebook and didn’t. It’s always one issue after the other with this place

My dentist was patient, caring and always checked how I was. The receptionist was really engaging, friendly and attentive.

How everything was explained. Yes running late but the dentist apologised and explained he needed to take extra time so the patient was not in pain so very thoughtful was great. Thank you.

The appointment was for 8am and was late again . Started at 8.15. Equipment wasn’t working well so dentist fiddling about not instilling any confidence in the silence! He was very polite and hopefully did a good job so hoping the treatment was good! All staff polite and friendly.
