ringing the reception today 20.9.24 was very unpleasant , the ladies are short and easily annoyed , details on system do not match paperwork so they get arsey with you when you tell them the paperwork is different to their screens , not pleasant experience and i think they couldnt care less about anyone the NHS , just wanting the pleasantries for private patients

Review titled delayed NHS appointments in time of need
Rated 4 stars out of 5

broken front tooth , had to wait about 4 weeks to get seen and then told need to come back for proper filling, temp one put in , why they cant do a filling correctly at the time as they know ones needs doing , just a ploy to get more money out of you as then its two appointments and two charges , other than that they are a good dentist but the NHS service is second rate , private patients take preference

Having just had a wisdom tooth removed, I am happy to say the experience was good. I obviously felt a little nervous, but I felt no pain or discomfort and clear instructions for after care were given.

I arrived for my 10am appointment 5 minutes early. I waited until 10.25 and was not called in. I had a telephone appointment with my MS nurse at 10.30 which I felt would take place as my 10am dental appointment would be finished in plenty of time. I had no caption after speaking to reception staff other than to leave at 10.27

For a long time we as a family have not had much confidence in the dentist we have been assigned to. Today I came in for an appointment due to a severe tooth ache which I mentioned to the dentist back in November where he told me it was likely to be gum decease and didn’t seem to want to investigate any further. Today he took X-rays and found that I have a hole in the tooth which he didn’t see from the last examination. I am now prescribed antibiotics and booked to have the tooth removed, but I have had to go all the way through Christmas with ongoing toothache when all this could have been avoided.
