Review titled Awful phone system, understaffed on reception.
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by John smith - Posted on 16 September 2024
Dentist's are good, but it's awful trying to communicate with them. They never answer phone, or respond to emails. I had to recently find another emergency dentist, as i as no response from my own. I also tried contacting other sister dentist's to email them, and, still no response. This is very frustrating, especially when your experiencing a high level of pain. This has happened each time I try to contact them. Your dentist is ment to have a duty of care.

Review titled Unable to make urgent appointment
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Wright - Posted on 25 July 2024
No idea on quality of care - trying to organise a follow-up after hospital referral for my daughter but nobody picks up the phone, nobody responds to e-Mail. Many reviews talk about cancelled appointments so we’re really concerned that our daughter’s care will be ruined by this practice and she will be unable to get the care required under NHS.

Review titled Good Dentist, awful appointment keeping
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anri Smith - Posted on 24 June 2024
Whilst the dentists are good and offer good treatment, actually getting seen is becoming an issue. Me and my partner (who see the dentists at very different times) have both had our last 2 appointments cancelled very last minute. I understand that things change but it's getting ridiculous. What really frustrates me though, is that I was 10 minutes late to an appointment a couple of years ago, because I read the wrong appointment text message, and they refused to see me at all, but it's okay for them see me later than my appointment or completely cancel my appointment of the day. They expect grace and understanding, but cannkt afford it to their patients. I can't afford private dental care so I am unfortunately stuck in this situation and just have to deal with it.

I am a nervous patient and Dr was was lovely I had 2 fillings and didn't even feel the injections... I have trouble with my back which I was anxious about sitting for long but she laid me down flat so I could put my knees up and was so attentive incl the dental nurse. Would throughly recommend.

Review titled Bad experience
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Gyanu thapa - Posted on 17 June 2023
I had a very bad experience with this Dentist. He was very rude and annoyed with me at my first visit for my 2 years old son’s dental appointment. He didn’t even introduce himself to me or my son. He didn’t even smile. He didn’t even put effort to check my son’s teeth by saying my son is not co operating, I don’t know what he was expecting from 2 years old boy. Anyway he said it is only 15 minutes NHS appointment and time is almost over. We literally both argued with each other. Since then my son was checked by Another dentist, who was very sweet in each appointment. She knew how to handle the situation with toddlers and mothers. We are very thankful for her. Anyway Today I am here to write a review because I was humiliated by him again, as it was a follow up appointment booked With this dentist at 12:30. I really didn’t want to make appointment with him but there was no other dentists name available online to book in other than his. Guess what? He refused to see my son and he sent us back home. How disrespectful is that. One of the receptionist said I booked with the wrong dentist, because my son is not under his patient list. Well I have been working in a health sector for 11 years and currently, I am a student nurse and I know this behavior of him is not acceptable as he should have acted under a professionalism by not refusing to see patients’ teeth but by showing his responsibility and duty towards any patients regardless of where they come from. by refusing to see my son, not only he disrespected us but he wasted NHS’s money, and time.
