I was called in on the time of my appointment and made welcome. The procedures to my surprise were carried out pain free and with as much care as possible. Within 15 minutes all was done.

My visit to the Dentist today was excellent. My appointment time was 12.10 pm and I was only there 10 minutes. The Dentist made me feel at ease , and explained in detail about my x rays and I was very well informed.

I’m a very anxious patient that needed 2 fillings. The treatment from start to finish was excellent. The dentist spoke to me and made sure I was ok. She and the helper were so kind and caring.

Review titled Review of jaw pain
Rated 4 stars out of 5

Considering I was seen following a long bank holiday weekend, care was taken to give me an appointment. Reassurance was given by the dentist with an examination including X-ray and advice was given. I really appreciated this due to the pain I was experiencing

Friendly staff to book you in. Was seen on time by my usual Dentist and Assistant. They are always very, very good. Friendly, cheerful and very professional and skilled. Best Dentist I have ever had.

Review titled Check up

It’s a good service usually and very clean and friendly. Check up appointments never seem to last more than 5 minutes every time though, always get told no issues when I feel like maybe more things can be addressed but they don’t on the NHS anymore. I have always paid for my treatment regardless. Just feels like where I’m not paying private, I’m not getting the best care I could be. I remember when check up appointments would actually last the time you were allocated and always was clear about the progress of your mouth and what work needed done/potential issues.

Review titled Tooth extraction
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 07 April 2023
Took several attempts to book appointment as my tooth pain was not considered an emergency. This is only the second time I have seen my new dentist and did find her very abrupt. She did not greet me and said very little which made me feel even more nervous. Despite several injections my tooth was not anethatised enough to make extraction possible and the dentist made me feel as if I was making a fuss. I know this not to be correct as the numbness wore off within a very short time after I had left so obviously did not work for some reason. I have another appointment to have a second go at the extraction but am already dreading it and considering going elsewhere and pay privately for the extraction. I have been with the Parkway Practice for decades and this is first time that I felt my treatment to be less than excellent.
