Review titled Joke of a practice
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 08 July 2024
My review will be echoing a lot of the other reviews on Google. This practice is a joke. They cancelled my appointment with less than 24 hours to go because "they didn't have an NHS dentist". I have been waiting over a year for this appointment and haven't had a check-up in 3 years due to covid. After cancelling my appointment is has been impossible to reach them by phone, they are either ignoring my number or just incapable of having a receptionist available to take calls. Either way that is disgraceful and embarrassing. Furthermore the dentist I have seen at this practice was incredibly rude the last time I was in complaining about wisdom tooth pain. In summary avoid this practice at all costs!!! Unless you also want to get a text saying your appointment has been cancelled with next to no notice.

Just returned from having tooth extraction. I am extremely nervous about having any kind of treatment but the Dentist was extremely patient with me, reassuring me throughout the procedure & explaining as she went along. Nurses & lady on reception very friendly & helpful

A superb experience from start to finish. Receptionist was friendly and efficient. Dentist and dental nurse took great care and explained everything. A very professional and caring service. Highly recommended.

Review titled Incompetent
Rated 1 star out of 5

Kicks you off books for their error of not cancelling appointments. One was due to them not answering the phone and also informed the dentist of the difficulty to get through. The second was an appointment that was no longer needed due to an emergency appointment between appointments was clearly not cancelled when told to face to face with receptionist. Hardly answers the phone and when they did and can see the error was on their side blames the dentist. I now have to find another dentist thanks.

Review titled Poor still await treatment
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Adrian Byrne - Posted on 02 May 2023
My wife is still awaiting treatments. The surgery is open but no treatment is being undertaken. The receptionist is very uncompassionate and getting paid to seat in an empty surgery. If that's not a waste of money I don't know what is. very poor none existent customer service

Review titled Poor communication
Rated 1 star out of 5

I have been trying to speak to the dentist who saw my brother (he has learning disabilities) to discuss the work that needs doing but it's very challenging. The receptionists say I need an appointment to discuss but then can't offer anything suitable. I am a teacher so need appointments in the school holidays, but just get told 'children have those appointments' so I'm expected to take time off from work. I asked for them to call to discuss how urgent the work needed is, that was 6 weeks ago and still have not had a phone call. There is no understanding about additional needs and the need to talk to carers. Very disappointed and looking to move elsewhere.
