From reception to the dentist and his nurse all made my visit a good one as I was not looking forward to having two teeth removed. Can I also say that when I was leaving at about 1.40pm the receptionist was dealing with a very rude customer and she dealt with the issue very well, if I had not just had the teeth removed and had padding in my mouth I would have told the man who was being rude to apologies to her.

I was referred to Oak dental in pure agony from my previous dentist here in Westcliff, a back tooth split in two after a filling, they tried to pull it out the next day, the tooth came off but they didn't check my x ray noticing my roots were trapped in a bone, so the roots were left behind, the next day in agony they tried again and failed. Thankfully I was referred to Oak Dental. I was greeted by an amazing new receptionist, I had spoken to her three times on the phone during the week leading up to my dental treatment, she was enthusiastic and genuinely caring and reassuring, she made sure my needs were catered for being registered blind, I am dictating this review, and amazing with my disability needs. Thank you so much for your help and if Oak dental look after you like you look after your patients, you've got nothing to worry about. I was then met very promptly by the dental nurse, lovely lady - again great with my disability, caring and very detailed in what was going on for me and my after care instructions, very impressive. Moving on to the dentist, having been through three incredibly painful ordeals at my previous dentist, I was expecting to be screaming - not at all, I did not feel anything! Not even the injections, they clearly know how to use numbing gel correctly. He was working on the tooth for around two minutes, he got the roots out in two pieces after a simply putting a crack in it and I promise you I felt nothing. Not one thing. He must be a dental genius! Thank you very much. I live about six miles from this practise and I have signed up as a patient, I hope the good people of Rochford realise just how lucky they truly are, especially compared to the ones we have in my city down the road. So next time you're dreading going to the dentist - I put it to you you have the wrong dentist, you should have no fear of going to Oak Dental, the way I feel right now - I will be a patient there for as long as they exist. Thank you everyone I've had no after pain by the way even in the hours after the roots were removed - I mean it when I say it, no pain at all, and I'm already healing up nicely. thank you. Make sure you look after you new receptionist, she's amazing!

Both my daughter and I struggle with nerves around dental work - our recent visit was one of the best I've ever had, especially as I was wanting to ensure I was 'brave' so as not to give a bad impression to my daughter, but the nurse kept me informed of what was happening, reminded me to breathe, and the work was done quickly. As a nervous patient, I can only recommend Oak Dental for the care and consideration they have during dental treatment for both myself and my children. Thankyou
