    I cannot praise My Dentist and All the staff at Shipley especially my daughters dentist L, for their compassion and care of my 11 year old daughter today. She was having 2 teeth extracted and felt unwell after the injections. (First injections ever) L was amazing and looked after her and waited until she was ready to go ahead with the tooth extractions. Talked her through what she was doing, calmed my daughter down and showed her so much care and empathy. Would definitely recommend. Thank you again.

    The dentist has just cancelled an appointment on 7 July I have been waiting more than a year for, and when I rang to rearrange the earliest they could offer was 12 August. As my issue is an ill fitting denture which was made several years ago and I am anxious to discuss options, I find this wait unacceptable. My denture has been regularly breaking and I have been forced to have it mended privately at some cost, as the service offered by this practice means I would have to wait several days without teeth. I suspect NHS patients are receiving a worse service than private patients, although I notice they are accepting new NHS patients.

    I visited the dental Hygenists today. I was very happy with the service and the information given. Very professional. Thankyou. A question for the practice. I paid 58 pounds. Is this the nhs price for a full scale and polish? as I am a nhs patient. Thankyou.

It may help if I explain that a scale and polish is only available on the NHS if your dentist deems it to be clinically necessary.     I have been patient of Saltaire and this practice for around 18 years and I have always been satisfied with its quality of treatment. I have recently had a crown fitted at my last visit and it absolutely marvellous highly delighted.
