I moved to this dentist at the age of 17 during covid I was given an appointment just after coming out of the pandemic I turned up only to be told that I did not have an appointment even though I was told I did. I tried for about a year after this to book an appointment to which every time I tired I was asked “why have you left it this long” “please call back tomorrow” they were also unhappy about the fact that I was a student and was unable to get there during school hours. I managed to get an appointment for 15th December 2022 I booked this appointment on 10 October 2022 and I have just received news that my appointment has been cancelled with no reason and re booked for January 11th. I understand that the NHS are under a lot of stress but cancelling appointments for no reason and making someone complaining with severe toothache is not ok.

My family have been using this practice for several years. Treatment when received is good. However many of the appointments we have made have been cancelled by the practice, usually on the day of the appointment. This is a long running theme that predates covid and happened to my daughter again in September 2022. If you are registering as an NHS patient, expect this to happen.
