I was experiencing a lot of pain in my jaw, the problem was swiftly identified. I had to have a tooth extracted, I was embarrassed and nervous but the dentist was so softly spoken and kind. The procedure itself was very unpleasant but…that’s to be expected. The dentist reassured me throughout and made sure I wasn’t in pain. Highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful people working weekends to help you at your weakest. I was amazed at the high standard of customer service, the dentists who took their time to explain the procedures and treatments available, the friendly receptionists. I am grateful for the help I received and I promised a review so here I go! Thank you again

I was so lucky in getting an emergency appointment on the same day, had a very painful tooth, which had to be extracted. The dentist was very friendly, calm, reassuring and quick. Could not recommend enough, was very happy with my visit. He was nicer than my normal regular dentist.

I can not speak more highly of my experience with this service. From the reception staff, nurses and of course the dentist I was really made to feel at ease and comfortable. The dentist was so kind and explained what I needed to do post-appointment without being condescending as I’ve found is often the case. I honestly wish that this was my regular dentist and not the emergency service, but I understand how important it is to keep this available for actual emergencies. A great team here doing a really impressive job even amongst building works! Thank you!

Identalcare Emergency Dental Service has been there for me twice now when an issue has progressed more rapidly than expected - I had appts booked with my regular dentist but was hitting excuciating pain levels. The receptionists are understanding and helpful (and know their triage well - it’s emergency only) and the two dentists I’ve seen have been really helpful. They’ve done the quick temporary thing to reduce the pain, set me straight while I wait for my regular dental appointment, have been kind and sympathetic. The second visit was an emergency extraction (expected) but the dentist checked in with my anxiety around dental interventions as he worked out what the best thing to do was. He also discussed the state of similar teeth, where there is damage caused by cracking (not decay or poor dental hygiene!) so I have plenty to cover with my regular dentist to look after several teeth, not just the immediately unremittingly severely painful one. This morning the pain has mainly gone and I have clear instructions about what to do next. Enormous thanks to Identalcare.

Excellent advice and treatment, way beyond what I expected from the emergency out-of-hours service - and all for £26.80! Problem fully resolved in one 30 minute visit, booked earlier the same evening. Couldn't have asked for a better dental service! Thankyou.

Going to the dentist is understandably scary at times, I didn’t get that at all. Shame I can’t share the dentists name on here as he was absolutely fantastic, as was his assistant. Despite the wait time, which was not their fault, he took the time to listen to everything I had to say and explained what was wrong back to me in a very easy to understand way whilst also answering any questions. All around great team, shout out to the lovely ladies on reception too. You’re all stars

I went as an emergency due to severe tooth pain. The member of staff managing reception was nothing short of fantastic. They were so kind and helpful when I first called, then when I arrived they were respectful, helpful, caring and chatty which helped put me at ease (I'm a nervous patient). Others could learn so much about how to treat patients from this person. The dentist was just as good, very thorough and clear. Discussed the different treatment options and made sure I was well informed so that I could make the best decision for me. The best part , they were there in my time of need, the pain I was experiencing was excruciating and even painkillers were barely touching it. Without this service I would have been left to suffer for at least another 3 days before I could even try to get an appointment with my regular dentist. The NHS would do well to increase funding for this clinic and others like it so that they can continue to provide this vital service and maybe even expand it so that they can actually see more of patients in their time of need
