Hello, I hope this review reading ovner this surgery. Yes,I have outstanding balance, and I try pay how best I can. But few weeks a go they call me and said me,they cancelled appointments for my daughters, because I'm still in outstanding balance,it was decision manager this surgery. I think its not fair for my daughters, she not should be mixed my children's in that. This appointments was booked about 6months a go. Now I need go to private appointments, because any surgery in Bedford don't have space for new patients.

  2. Review titled NHS patient and Exemption centrificates

Rated 1 star out of 5

The following is based on a telephone conversation I had with the management team at the dental practice. I enquired what a NHS tax exemption certificate covers under their practice. The Individual explained that things like dentures and fillings, I asked what about cleaning, scalling and polishing. The management replied no as the hygienist completes deep cleaning. The person explained that a basic clean is a "superficial" clean and a deeper clean is recommended to be completed by the hygienist. I was also told that NHS patients still have to pay for a deeper clean as it is not covered under the certificate. I spoke to the NHSBSA help line to find out what I am covered for under the certificate and I was informed any NHS dentist recommendation or work is covered under Band 2 and the dentist or practice can use the certificate to cover this cost. The practice seems to push you towards a hygienist and would like you to pay for it even if you are a NHS patient and you have a valid exemption certificate. My simple query is why is this dental practice allowed to take on NHS patients and then deny their exemption rights? I would not recommend this practice at all.
