  1. Review titled Receptionists

Rated 1 star out of 5

The dentists are great and it’s all smooth sailing but having to deal with the receptionists lets the dental practice down massively. One told me they couldn’t help at all after having issues with a tooth extraction and being very rude and unhelpful for me to call back later that day and speak to a different receptionist and be given the first appointment the next day to resolve the issue!I suggest they take some customer service training

  3. Review titled Very Poor

Building is like a derelict office building. Far too busy. All furniture old. Walls and floors dirty. No way would we get work done there. Walked out without treatment. Completely unsuitable. I am shocked at the state of this building. It was like a squatter's residence.

  4. Review titled Appalling.

The building itself looks like it has only just survived a fire. I waited over an hour to be told that there was nothing they could do for me. The assistant and dentist argued throughout my checkup and the dentist lost his cool with me only for then when I was leaving the assistant to tell me the dentist was wrong in what he had said and that options were available to me. I genuinely thought I was on a hidden camera show. Avoid this dentist at all costs.

  5. Review titled Refreshingly straight forward

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by Fran T - Posted on 25 January 2024

I was sceptical about whether the practise was really taking NHS patients as I'd been lured to a previous dentist that said they took NHS and then charged me thru the nose. Hanover were the opposite, despite a full waiting room, I was dealt with professionally and quickly for a standard check up. Saw a lady dentist who explained everything she was doing very clearly to me, no massive confusing words to scare me. Turned out I needed a filling and a clean. The dentist was really clear about what I needed to pay (minimal compared to previous dentist I'd visited) £25.80 for check up. Nothing for xray (included in check up) £40 for filling, £40 for 20 min hygienist. No upselling of expensive dental plan etc. Got next appointment within the month. Very impressed. Thank goodness some dentists still have the interests of their patients at heart not just their profits.

  6. Review titled Rip off

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Went for check up expected x ray did not get one. I know from my previous dentist before lock down Ineeded a filling there was no mention of this on my visit. The dentist said he would do a descale he poked around in my mouth many times touching a nerve in the same area and then said swill my mouth that was the end of any treatment he told me everything was fine come back in 6 months. He asked me to sign and I was then charged £25.70.

  7. Review titled Good visit

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Was very nervous prior to my appointment because of previous dental treatment. Was seen by a lovely dentist who was very patient and reassuring before my check up and another follow-up appointment. Considering the practice is having a lot of work in the building going on it was business as usual.

  8. Review titled Happy with my experience

Rated 4 stars out of 5

Upon entering the practice I was a little concerned about the building & decor as it looks like it's been under construction so that lets it down massively, however all the staff I dealt with that day on reception and during treatment were lovely and I cannot fault. My dentist was very nice and thorough with the care I received and her personality was very welcoming too.

  9. Review titled Extremely poor really gone down bank

Rated 1 star out of 5

After being with this practice for 38 years I'm truly shockingly disappointed.... The place is a sham the dentist I saw last didn't understand a word I said...... Recently visited had treatment which collapsed on the same day every time...which in turn took 3 visits and still no joy in the same position I originally was.... No faith or trust now. Due to the trauma & inconvenience I shall be looking elsewhere.....dont know what they are doing & bits of kids who can't even mix a compound for a filling.. You deserve a bad review shame on you.

  10. Review titled Poor service

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 29 November 2023

From start to finish my latest visit was poor. I was greeted by very unwelcoming reception staff who asked me for my signature, I asked what for, there response was 'it's on the screen'. I waiting almost 20 minutes for my appointment when a member of staff shouted me from a stair case and told me to go in a particular room. The dentist was sat with his back to the door and spoke to me in this way. I was asked to take a seat, he proceeded to ask the usual questions and then wham the bed was reclined without any notice. At the end of my check up, again I was asked to sign a document, no explanation was given why. The reception staff were again unwelcoming on trying to book my next appointment, no manners what so ever from any of the staff.
