Review titled Went above and beyond.
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I visited Hafren House today after being advised by A&E that an emergency dentist would be able to better assist me as my 5 year old daughter had been involved in an accident. She had torn her gum and her front teeth were facing backwards at 45 degrees. From the initial phone call nothing seemed too much trouble, they got me in immediately to see a dentist who advised on the options available while being very conscious of the fact my daughter was scared and in considerable pain. We came to the conclusion that the best way forward was to have the teeth extracted as they were affecting my daughters ability to close her mouth. An appointment was made for this to be done the same afternoon where again the dentist and dental nurse went out of their way to make my daughter feel at ease in a situation that could have been very traumatic. They were extremely patient and caring. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hafren House, my daughter is now in considerably less discomfort and is looking forward to her first visit from the tooth fairy!

Review titled Wonderful 'cutting edge' practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Geoffrey Johnston - Posted on 14 July 2023
I am now seventy and have had serious ongoing problems (largely caused by sport injuries) to my upper front teeth since my late teens. These problems ultimately necessitated a bridge some decades ago but underlying decay inevitably resulted in the loss of this bridge a few years ago. However owing to outstanding and innovative dental surgery this bridge has been replaced by two conjoined bridges with the Practice having always responded brilliantly and diligently to the challenges involved in maintaining these bridges. As a consequence I have been prevented from the need for a denture to cover the gap in my front teeth. I can't recommend this progressive and highly ethical Dental Practice highly enough and I am indebted and grateful for the service I have received.

Review titled Been struck off.
Rated 3 stars out of 5

Came out of hospital to message saying I’m no longer accepted at this dental practice, I’ve been having on going medical problems, I got referred to have braces through this dentist, but now having braces I’m going to have to look else where to take over while I have braces and future operations and inform the hospital orthodontist which isn’t ideal. Had been with this dentist for many many years, everyone there was polite and friendly, a shame I didn’t even get a referral as finding another nhs dentist is going to be hard for me.

Review titled Exceptional patient care
Rated 5 stars out of 5

The quality of care at this practice is beyond compare. All staff are professional, friendly and caring and the practice itself is clean and well-run. I have total confidence in my dentist and know that I am getting the best care and course of treatment, without any unnecessary intervention. An NHS dentist is a rare breed indeed these days and I count myself extremely fortunate to be a patient at this practice!
