Receptionists and the dental assistant were helpful but wasn’t impressed with the new dentist I saw today. I didn’t know what she was on about throughout my time in there

The hygienist was (as always) very thorough, reassuring and calming, explaining in advance every step of the treatment to me and the reasons why expected procedures were no longer required.

Fantastic receptionist’s always very polite and very helpful to sort me out when I need it the most, and the dentists and there assistants are also always warm and welcoming and make it nice place to be, always a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Impressed by the recent redecoration of the premises as all looked very smart now. On meeting the dentist and explaining that I had no current issues but have had a lot of work done in the past, I was slightly disappointed to hear her say “Oh my God” when inspecting my mouth.

The dentist did not communicate what was going on nor did she give me an overview of what she had done at the end. It was just a regular catch up but she barely spoke to me and was also quite heavy handed.

My appointment was not changed, i was seen on time. The hygienist was very friendly and explained everything. It was not painful. I was able to book my next appointment while i was there.

Called the practice this morning for a last minute emergency appointment and although the dental surgery was absolutely as busy as it get’s they allowed me a sit and wait appointment. The treatment as always was first class. I’d like to Thank all the staff at Flitwick High Street Dental Practice for looking after my dental needs.

The dentist was very good at the actual treatment. However, despite confirmation from the receptionist he said he didn’t have time to do a checkup and replace a filling. He also said if I wanted the filling I could not be added to his list as a dentist. The practice is not currently making any appointments for checkups and I am unlikely to get an appointment in 2023. This is after already waiting over a year for this appointment. I know the practice is finding it hard to recruit and retain dentists, but the current service is appalling
