The actual dentistry part of my visit was fine, absolutely fine. Being sent upstairs to a newly built surgery which I had never been before along aa dark corridor, down two steps then required to wait in an unlighted room was less than pleasant. Could I suggest that a member of staff be tasked with turning all lights on before clients areadmitted in the morning?

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave feedback for your recent visit to the practice. Your feedback is much appreciated. We are delighted to hear that the dentistry aspect of your appointment was good. I am concerned however that the lights were not on in the upstairs waiting area. Thank you for taking the time to speak to Gerry, our Head Receptionist when she called you, as we were very keen to find out what had happened here. It would seem as you had the first appointment of the day, and had arrived early, the area had not yet been prepared by the nurses for the start of the day as they were carrying out their surgery and decontamination room equipment checks before preparing the waiting area for patients. However, we always learn from any feedback which gives us an opportunity to improve any aspect of our service. We have made the decision that patients who arrive early at the start of the day will not be asked to go upstairs until the waiting room area is fully ready for their arrival. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and this has been fed-back to our staff in our staff meeting today. We look forward to seeing you at your next visit. Kind regards. Joanne Roberts. So nervous at my appointment today for a dental filling . However all my anxieties where addressed with confident caring service . Thank you so much for my positive not so nervous visit .

The reception staff were excellent and very helpful to me and my problem and the dentist was very nice as always she has an affinity with her patients

Reason for 4 stars for waiting time is because my appointment was for 9-00 am, Denticians didn't seem to arrive untill 9-05. By time they had sorted themselves out it was almost 9-10 when I was called. Only a small thing but punctuality is important to me.

A nice experience all round, welcoming from start to finish. Very professional. While having the check-up in the dentist chair, the information spoke of was good & understood everything given. Kept me at ease throughout this experience.

The dentist was welcoming and gave a thorough check up ecplaining in clear language how to improve my dental health. She gave me a demonstration using a mirror how to use the dental sticks and flossettes i need to use and advised me about which mouthwash I needed when asked.

I have given 3 stars for decisions about your treatment and information about the cost of your treatment as it was only a check up and therefore no treatment required and I was asked if I paid for my treatment but wasn’t told ( and I didn’t ask as I had a rough idea) about how much it would cost.
