I always receive excellent treatment at Dove dental practice. All the staff are professional & very friendly making you feel relaxed. I would certainly recommend the practice.

I arrived for my appt 5 mins before my time but the dentist was 10 mins late with no apology from her or being informed from the reception staff the dentist was running late, then the dentist said to make appt in about 1 years time !! Then the receptionist said no appts available for 6 months time but would be touch if anything became available!! I find this very poor service and can’t help wondering is it because I am nhs and not a private patient

Courteous reception staff, friendly dental nurse and confident and clear dental surgeon who explained everything in detail Just not sure why after being told by the dentist to book an appointment for 6 months time, reception staff said this wasn’t possible as future appointments would be made on a priority basis; I’ve always booked next appointments after each check up and always attended?

As a nervous patient I was not looking forward to my appointment, but everyone from the receptionist to the dental nurses were so nice and made me feel very relaxed.

I wanted to give this at least a 3.5 rating, but that was not part of the scoring system. The dentist and assistant were very good, reassuring and professional throughout. However, the extraction was not as smooth and swift as expected and that was down to the infection at the root of the tooth. But I hasten to add that the stubbornness of the tooth to come out was not a reflection on the dentists and the removal technique, it was more likely a strong jawline and a stubborn tooth. This could easily have been a 5 star review.

I tried a different hygienist as the last one left. I found her technique to be quite heavy handed and rushed. I will book in with a different one next time.
