Only a short wait for my appointment. The lady dentist and her assistant were thoughtful and helpful. I acted on advice about my teeth and treatment that was quick and efficient.

Review titled Another Cancellation
Rated 1 star out of 5

We have used this practice since my children needed regular check ups and at first it was a pleasure to visit. Knowledgable and friendly staff. As working parents we book appointments to be cancelled two days before, we rebook for the next available appointment in 3 months and they cancel again. Our daughters have not been seen for 18 months and are both in their teenage years when teeth need regular check ups This practice is not fit for purpose

Review titled Good visit after it went downhill
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Went yesterday and today, yesterday for a checkup and today for a filling and a clean. A very positive appointment, after months of cancelled ones. Staff very pleasant ,and as I'm frightened of the dentist this was very reassuring, as the dentist put me at ease.

Review titled Disappointed
Rated 2 stars out of 5

Needed an emergency appointment for a broken tooth. They cancelled initial appt and booked a week later. They do this often! On arrival I saw a locum dentist who informed me he couldnt start any treatment as he was only there to end of Month - surely they knew that when I made the appointment! For a few seconds of looking (not even laid back in chair) they still charged me the fee. They then gave me an April appt to see a permanent dentist but the text I recd says July ! You never see the same staff - they seem to struggle to keep both reception staff and dentists. If I could find another dentist I would change as this place is really hopeless.

Review titled Awful service
Rated 1 star out of 5

We've been attending this dental practice for a number of years as it's our local NHS service. Very high turnover of staff, never seen the same dentist more than twice. Notes don't seem to be passed on. Made a 9am appointment, first of the day and kept waiting 45 minutes for our appointment due to staff not arriving to work on time. This has occurred a couple of times with different members of staff. No apology or recognition from the late member of staff. Husband and I both really late to work as a consequence and kids late into school. Service is mediocre. Appointment which was booked back in July, for December was cancelled 2 days beforehand, told we'd now have to wait until August for an after school appointment, hence taking 9am appointment to minimise disruption. When I went to book our next check-up in 6 months, told that they didn't know what dentists they'd have available then so to call nearer the time! If we needed significant work doing, I'd be looking for another NHS dentist.

It was my first visit to this practice and I have to say a positive experience. The dentist was very approachable , caring and kind. In fact everyone was very pleasant. I have no worries about attending future appointments.

Review titled Terrible practice
Rated 1 star out of 5

Cancelled appointments is their top order of the day! In the past 18 months every single one of my appointment has been either cancelled or rescheduled! Most have been cancelled whilst I am driving to my scheduled appointment which is really unacceptable. I have also been waiting on a refund for a hygienist appointment that was cancelled over 12 months ago. An appointment the practice booked without actually having a hygienist in their employ. Corrupt ownership which could really do with a close look at, coupled with staff turnover that is off the charts make this an almost unforgiveable experience. If I could afford private I would have left this utter farce well alone sadly I cannot so have to jeep taking to incredibly poor, awful, disgusting service

I am currently undergoing treatment to replace a broken tooth. The dentist is professional, competent and explains everything to me before treatment begins.

Review titled Another positive experience
Rated 4 stars out of 5

Saw dentist very close to appointment time. Again, dentist explained exactly what was to be done before the impression of my teeth could be taken, to house my new tooth. Both dentist and assistant were empathic and friendly. When I arrived, it was great to see smiling, happy and helpful receptionists. Thank you all concerned.

Review titled Wrong advice
Rated 2 stars out of 5

I was told a root canal treatment wasn't available on the NHS, and would need an extraction. As this is my last grinding tooth on that side I thought it best to 'sleep on it'. I phoned another practice and they said the opposite (it can be done on the NHS). Not impressed. One other thing, I've found the staff a touch surly. I arrived and approached the desk, but as the receptionist was busy on the phone I went and sat down (a bit rude to just hover there). Some time later I still hadn't been called forward so approached the desk wondering why the delay. I almost missed my appointment as she hadn't signed me in. Perhaps I should have known the procedure, or perhaps they could have a sign saying "please sign in before taking a seat", but having noticed my arrival she could have called me forward when free.
