Inexperienced hygienist! Seemed annoyed when I told her she was hurting me, and had poor understanding of patient interaction. My last NHS dentist was 1000% times better. I won’t be returning. I don’t see any 2024 reviews for this Practice?!

I had to wait nearly an hour for a check up. It would have been helpful to know that the dentist was running so far behind when I checked in, as I could have gone and done some errands rather than waiting all that time in the waiting room.

I took up an on the day cancellation appointment for my 3 year old. We arrived in good time, 10 mins early to fill forms out etc. all in all we waited 50 mins to be seen! Not easy with keeping a 3 year old entertained. I would have appreciated an apology, or notified of a long wait, especially as I had been called to fulfill an appointment. The receptionist I spoke to was not very forthcoming.

Had dentures fitted in Jan 2023, after an extraction in 2022. They broke in Aug 2023. Since then my dentist left the practice and I've had been provided with 2 replacement sets, by different dentists, which didn't fit and couldn't be filed down sufficiently to 'make them fit'. So, I am now going through the whole process again! I don't know why the practice is having these problems, could it be in the manufacturing process? Reception staff appear very good at coping with various situations, as they arise.

Reception staff seem to have improved recently ie they are picking up the phone and seem polite and efficient but getting an nhs appt quickly seems to depend on who you speak to still. The practice seems very money orientated.
