First time attending the clinic via 111 with and urgent issue, the reception staff very welcoming and friendly. Attended early as advised , did not have to wait long at all. I was called to first floor to be greeted by a very rude dentist, he continued to talk down to me and I felt her was dismissive and rude. I was aware my teeth were not in perfect health but he continued even during the xray to be obnoxious and when he explained my further treatment, which I enquired if it could be done under a General he was again rude and said it will take years on the NHS waiting list. I left with my prescription and a GP referral, feeling very upset and extremely disappointed as I had the intention of having all my treatment carried out with this clinic, on a private basis, but I will not be returning and strongly advising anyone not to book an appointment with this particular dentist

Hi Sarah, I am sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the demeanour of our urgent care dentist. I will discuss this with him. General Dentists are unable to carry out treatment under sedation or general anaesthetic. We are only able to cary out treatment under local anaesthetic in practice, if you do wish to have treatment under local anaesthetic please do get in touch. They were correct when explaining that there is a huge waiting list for treatment in hospital under general anaesthetic. I just want to say how pleased I was with the treatment I received from the practice for both crowns and fillings. The dentist put me at my ease, everything was clearly explained, the atmosphere was relaxed and everything was highly efficient. Thank you.
