Welcomed warmly and professionally by young man on reception when I arrived. Hygienist was on time, very friendly and very professional as was her assistant

So sorry l scored Poor . All the staff were friendly and the nurse who took my blood was delightful and efficient…..But unfortunately the receptionist failed to report my attendance clearly and the nurse did not know l had arrived, consequently l waited over an hour

The cost of the dentistry going private now.Before on nhs having a filing was roughly £60 now its £184 more than double the price. Alot of clients can't afford thiis due to the cost of living anymore or are out of work, This is my personal opinion but others may think differently .Having to sit in a chair for 5minutes just for a check up £68 woah ?. And i cant believe the cost of children having check up and treatment, surely they should be free up till the age of 18years old or until they have left school

Unfortunately, the male receptionist was not particularly welcoming and continued to view his computer screen for some time before acknowledging our presence.

Staff were friendly (& put you at ease of you’re nervous!), happy to discuss different options with you so that you feel comfortable and in control of what’s happening. I even agreed to the ‘water jet’ this time and it was still completely pain free! Happy with my experience today.

I thought the ladies on reception, in spite of being very busy dealing with phone calls and personal callers were really good, although i think they could do with more staff.

My first visit to the Blackbrook practice and a bit daunting for me because I have a phobia about dentistry ever since bad childhood experiences in the 1950s. My previous dentist in another town was excellent for my last 20 years of care from him and I was worried other dentists might not be as good as him. However my Blackbrook visit was a relief - the dentist, technician and receptionist were all excellent. They showed me the scans of my teeth and pronounced them all in good order and well looked after. This pleased me because my early life experience has made me obsessive about cleaning my teeth effectively twice a day. Also, I've always used toothpaste containing fluoride because, as a scientist, I know the fluoride atoms absorbed into the enamel make it significantly harder.
