I have had a terror of dentists after a childhood experience. After having my last two bottom teeth pulled out by a young lady dentist my fear of dentists has vanished. Shewas professional in her work also very caring of my situation. She constantly checked that I was OK and told me exactly what she was doing. The whole experience went smoothly and without pain. If you are looking for a new dental practice I recommend Atwell and Barot.

After severely breaking an upper tooth whilst eating nuts I rang for an appointment which was speedily made. I thought that I would lose the tooth but no it was just recoverable and rebuilt. Very Good service - Well done, 'thank you'

I’m 73+the dentist thinks I have a hairline crack in a back tooth giving pain. I had the same problem 20yrs ago on another tooth+the dentist covered my tooth with something silver which has worked. When I asked if that would be possible? The answer was we don’t do that any more…..it’s got to be an extraction. Now 2wks on the pain has subsided. I do appreciate it will return but is extraction the only way? Please help….can I get a second opinion?

We can explore all options with you but sometimes extraction is the only one that is appropriate- but clearly we will need to see you and have a good look. Being a wimp regarding needles I asked if we could try a filling without anaesthetic. The dentist was extremely compassionate and checked in every few minutes that all was OK. It did not hurt a single bit. As far as fillings go this was the best ever! Thank you.

After experiencing pain & discomfort for a few days which got worse overnight I rang the dentist's at 8 o'clock this morning & spoke to a very kind & helpful receptionist. At 8.30 the dentist rang me himself, discussed my concerns & asked if I could go in to see him.I was seen promptly at 9 o'clock, assessed, reassured & given advice. Couldn't have asked for better care & support.

Friendly reception staff, brilliant dentists and staff all help to put you at ease, there's a quiet relaxed atmosphere especially good if you don't like visiting the dentist.
