The time taken to prepare me for a tooth extraction as I am a very nervous dental patient. This made the difference between Going ahead or not. I went ahead and the professionalism was excellent.

Staff always helpful and friendly. Dentist always explain what they are going to do and why, this puts me at ease so I never feel stressful. I am sent an email to book next appointment.

First time visiting this branch of Apple Dental Practice as previously attended the Abbotswood branch. All staff we met were lovely and friendly and Alex, as he always is, was excellent.

Given that going to the dentist is not something anyone looks forward to the overall experience is fine. One issue I would point out is that none of your surgeries are "great" for the disabled/wheelchair users. The Wellington Road premises has a ramp but space is tight and, once in the actual dentist's room transferring from wheelchair to the "couch" for treatment is too restrictive and certainly is not desinged to give any thought to the disabled patients' dignity when they are "manhandled" in such a tight space. There should be one room that has enough space to accomodate a wheelchair patient with respect for their disability. The feeling is that rooms have been made so small just to cram more patients in to treat more people which, in turn, will bring in more revenue. You mustn't make things difficult for the disabled.

My dentist talked me through the whole procedure, Im not a great lover of the dentist but always feel calm when visiting my dentist, she is very caring, and has a calming presence.

The dentist I saw was the most helpful and provided the most useful advice I've received in the 10+ years I've been attending the practice. What I did frustrating was the attitude of the 2 receptionists. On arrival, I stood at the desk for quite a while being ignored and feeling very unwelcome. I appreciate one was typing, the other was looking at a photo on their phone, however a quick 'hello', or 'I'll be with you in a moment' would have been far more courteous and welcoming. My husband had a very similar experience the week before. Its a shame that is the first impression received as the dental treatment was good. The attitude changed when I came to pay!
