I went for skin rash treatment, doctor on my first visit made me feel that I should have not come to the clinic at all and told me that “I can’t cure you.” “I won’t see you unless you are covered in rash from head to toes” I went there after trying out different ways for one year, with months of waiting for my appointment. My skin rashes comes and goes back, so it is completely possible that the skin rashes are not severe on the day of the visit. (Which was the case). But doctors should understand it , and not assume that it is small thing.

We received excellent service. Although we were delayed because we missed the exit on the way and it took us longer to reach the destination, I contacted the receptionist to inform them that we were running late. I didn’t expect to be seen, as I work in the NHS and understand the dna policy. However, I was pleasantly surprised that we were still accommodated even though we were outside the scheduled time. The receptionist was very kind and polite, and the consultant was excellent, answering all our questions thoroughly. My daughter has had eczema for a long time, and this is the first time we received proper consultation and felt truly satisfied. My daughter was very happy with the consultation. Thank you for the excellent service.

I have just got home after having had a "dodgy" mole removed by a punch excision by the Senior Sister. I would like to say thank you for the brilliant treatment I received. I was seen promptly so I didn't have to wait. I was nervous but I was put at ease. I barely felt the injection that deadened the area. The Senior Sister ensured that the skin around the mole was completely deadened before quickly and painlessly removing the mole. The HCA applied the dressing and gave me clear instructions on how I should look after the wound site and I left with a piece of paper with further instructions and advice. I have had superb treatment today, I feel fine and an example of the NHS at it's very best. Many thanks to the Sister and the Nurse that saw me this morning....10 out of 10

Absolutely stressed out as have not received cancer scan results 5 weeks after being referred from here. Disgraceful !

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear your CT scan results have taken five weeks to be communicated to you. Unfortunately the organisation that carries out the CT scans can often take up to eight weeks to produce the results, despite our efforts at chasing and requesting them to expedite results. Once the results are received, we then have to process them to be discussed at the multi-disciplinary team meeting before the results can be communicated to you. The doctor then has to review the outcome and communicate the results to you.

Referred here. Do not have access to a car. It takes 2 hours to reach by public transport from Dartford. You need to go to London Bridge and change trains. Why can I not be seen at Sidcup. Lewisham or other more local hospital? Why does darenth valley hospital not have a dermatology department?

Thank you for your feedback. Although our clinic locations are local to train stations and other means of public transport, we appreciate our patients are coming from all different directions and our locations may not be suited to them. Unfortunately Darent Valley Hospital is not part of our organisation and does not permit us to have dermatology clinics at their sites, if you would like to look into this further then you can contact their PALS team on 01322 428382 or dgn-tr.PALS@nhs.net. Sidcup and Lewisham are also not part of our organisation and if you wish to be seen at either of these locations then you will need to contact your GP to redirect your referral to a hospital of your choosing.

Although I can not fault the practice , eg reception and reception staff I can not say the same for the dermatologist I saw, appealing bed size manner , including reluctance to answer my questions. I have worked for many many years in the NHS and this behaviour is not endorsers by the NHS . This experience has stayed with me and I feel sad and disappointed.

Wonderful experience of how the NHS can work. All staff -receptionist, nurses, consultant-lovely, welcoming & put my elderly mother at ease for surgical removal of a skin tumour. A gem of a practice to have locally.

I visited the clinic with my husband who has had an upsetting diagnosis (by a different dermatologist) and this appointment was to discuss treatment. The consultation was poor and any information had to questioned by myself from the dermatologist we saw. He has referred us to London for a second opinion. He did offer some ultra violet light treatment and handed us a form. We went to the desk and the receptionist was outstanding! She explained how the light treatment will work, how it is booked and likely wait time etc. She was fantastic and we learnt more from her than the dermatologist. We look forward to going to London as we hopefully will receive more information and a better bedside manner!

My treatment involved removal of a rapidly growing skin cancer. I was surprised and relieved to get it done during a single appointment. The Doctor and nurse were sensitive to my state of mind, reassuring, informative at each stage of the procedure and about aftercare. Their efficiency and caring attitude are remarkable. I am grateful to all - the receptionist, doctor and nurse - thank you.
