The pharmacy was easy to access. No wait. The after effects mirrored some of the symptoms of my Long Covid, but we're milder.

Review titled No understanding of condition or medication
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Lori Ferguson - Posted on 30 April 2024
Received letter to attend for spring Covid vaccination. Booked open university on 30.04.2024. I was refused a vaccination. No understanding or knowledge of my medical condition or medication. Told criteria changed. I am clinically vulnerable. Never before refused a vaccine. Why was I asked to come in if not eligible? I am totally not happy with this service or the lack of knowledge by person administrating vaccines!!

Review titled What a team
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I was jabbed in Crewe today for both COVID and flu. The ladies were incredible, working out of a cold decommissioned toilet which had barely any heat for them. What a kind and understanding team. My only sadness was at the attitude of other patients who complained about location, the cold, the parking etc. Honest to goodness some people are so thankless for the job these ladies do and to the NHS for the free vaccine to help their health. Having lived in Australia where you pay for everything I very much feel such people should see this side of healthcare to quieten their cough and be thankful for what they have. Well done and please pass onto the Crewe team working opposite West Street Pharmacy. M

Review titled Concerned
Rated 3 stars out of 5

I was sent an invitation to attend clinic. However I was questioned why I was attending as I was not 65 I am 64. The staff were very friendly so no concerns about treatment. However I was told the staff would be in trouble if they give a vaccination to an ineligible person. I was attending due to a condition that puts me at risk and I did feel guilty as I had to explain and use special category information (see GDPR) in a public area.Surely if your system used for vaccinations does not have special category information showing....why should I be expected to explain myself in a public area? Also the staff are put in a difficult situation and it isn't their fault.
