It was lovely speaking to the doctor. She is a very good listener and I was able to move my appointment to a more convenient time following an emergency diary clash. I have been registered at this practice for over 25 years and have never had any reason to want to leave. Keep it up.

I have used the surgery recently to get my regular check up and smear test. The surgery staff are attentive to my needs and friendly too. My appointment was on time without any waiting around. I am grateful to have my GP at this surgery. They have excellent customer service.

Without any problem reception staff help me with appointment and I was able to see doctor .this is first time I did blood test in my gp surgery and it hels lot

Clinician was very helpful and took the time to listen to me, and put me at ease, however the time allocated for the visit with the clinician and the patient is very short.

Digital team did not indicate heading of the appointment which is not professional. Appointment confirmation - confusing with time changes twice and ended up start time was nearly 45 mins delay outside the time slot and no number provided to call to check reason for delay - tried calling surgery reception but there was a queue. Alternatively, there should be a text message to indicate the appointment is still going ahead. I nearly leave. During the appointment: Clinician was pleasant. The focus was on medication but on hindsight I should be given an opportunity to try the natural way and only refer to medication as last resort. Following the appointment I did some background information about the medication and found that it’s not suitable for me as borderline case though it’s a recommendation. Conclusion: I don’t feel that the pharmacist clinician looked into other option offered to me earlier which I’ve forgotten eg weight management class programme. It would be better if I have been reviewed by a generalist (doctor/nurse) and if medication is the only option then refer me to pharmacist. So after careful consideration I decided to withdraw with the medication option and communicate to my GP as per above. Just don’t feel that the process is flowed in a systematic way.

GP phoned within alloted time slot. He listened carefully. He issued relevant blood test form and will preview medication after receiving the blood test results. He was also very polite and caring.
