Since covid the procedure for appointments has changed and are not customer friendly. The GP Centre was great in the past, no more does it seem to function smoothly, conflicting information if you turn up to book you are sent away, you are directed to a long online form which often deletes when you reach the end. Calling as I did today 3 times first after long wait i get through, all at lunch, second call was 3 in queue and when I got through, I was hung up on. When I did get through they said I could not make an appointment for my sick daughter but call tomorrow at 8am. The reception hung up when I complained about the service, rather than take it on board. I recently wanted medication for a serious UTI infections I get andmy DR would have a prescription ready to collect if I had a serious attack. This time I was asked to give a urine sample and receive no medication till result came back in 3 days. I called 111 in end, result of short conversation sorted easily prescription sent by text. St James st what has happened? It is way more complicated for patients now and i am deeply frustrated now each time I try to get an appointment.
