I attended the St Catherine's clinic for cataract surgery on my left eye. From information provided prior to my visit I knew exactly what to expect. Everybody at the clinic was polite, helpful and caring. The surgery went off without a hitch and was very successful. I can't praise everyone I met enough. Thank you for making what could have been a frightening experience so easy for me to deal with.

Very helpful staff who explained the whole procedure and put me at ease which was very reassuring when going back for my other eye to be treated

Both eyes treated within 8 weeks. No problems, everything went smoothly and as planned. If only all NHS treatment could be run by SPA..

The whole experience from beginning to end has been impressive. Waiting time was just days to first appointment and then days to the actual.operation day. All the staff were not only professional but also kind and caring. I can't believe how straightforward the actual operation was. Thank you to the whole team who made me feel at ease. The surroundings are also airy and bright which helped me feel more relaxed.

The surgeon was very abrupt to the point of rudeness but I learnt that he was a locum and not the usual one. All the rest of the staff and pre and after care were absolutely excellent.

I have had two cataract operations at this facility in the last few weeks. On both occasions all members of the team from the reception to the surgeons were professional, kind, cheerful, reassuring and very friendly. This is an excellent facility within the NHS. All members of staff should be proud to work here.

Just recovering from my first cataract surgery at St Cath’s. Can’t fault the service and staff. All very professional and kind. I will have no worries returning for my other eye. Thank you for restoring my clear sight.

My mum said she is so glad she doesn’t have a third eye! First procedure in January went very well. Quick, virtually painless and good comms. Staff caring and helpful. Second procedure very different. She waited nearly fours for the procedure, which is a very long time for someone of her age. Procedure was painful as anaesthetic drops not given until ready to go in the theatre. Don’t know if this made a difference but she could feel much more this time and was quite upset.
