    I had an opticians appointment and the follow up calls and appointments were very quick and to suit me. The clinic and staff were pleasant and rfgicient

    I can highly recommend Spamedica, I’ve had cataracts removed from both my eyes and the staff are really friendly and reassuring, I was very nervous but the staff all put me at ease. The waiting time was very short and the whole experience was excellent .

    Welcomed on arrival. I only had one question which was immediately answered. Staff very professional but made you feel at ease. Was a bit worried about the procedure but I cannot believe how painless it was and the surgeon stopped halfway through to make sure I was not in any pain. Discharge was thoroughly discussed. Staff explained where toilet and refreshments were available. I will not have no concerns or worries when I’m du to have my second eye surgery. Everyone at the clinic should be proud of the service they provide

    My elderley mum who has dementia had an appointment for cataract treatment today. I was extremely dissappointed with the staff who were very unprofessional. In the assessment room there was staff present who were loud and messing around, this was a distraction for my mum who was finding it difficult to sit still and focus. Despite the staff recognising what was happening they continued! The staff member who was trying to carry out the assessment was impatient with her as she was struggling to follow commands, this was obvious to me and my mum. As a senior member of clinical staff at mid yorkshire trust I was very upset by the attitudes and behaviours of the staff in the assessment room towards my vulnerable mum.

    I needn’t have worried at all, all the staff were very friendly and professional, explained every detail and answered all questions. The procedure went very smoothly and I’m looking forward to having my second cataract removed in the near future, l would recommend SpaMedica to anyone.

    My experience from assessment to my first cataract removal has been excellent. All the staff are very attentive, reassuring to any concerns with clear descriptions of the procedure and the various steps up to your discharge. Looking forward to the other eye being done ! Thank you
