From the moment of contact this practice showed professional patient care.The staff made you feel very relaxed and gave you full support. All the staff made you feel very welcome . I could not have asked for more when they carried out my eye surgery . I thank the whole staff members from cleaners to surgeons.

From meet and greet at the pre-op consultation; through various checks and tests with a number of clinic personnel; during the operation itself; to farewell at the discharge desk:- all went as smoothly as one might hope for. You’ll need all the waiting around time that you’ve been warned about. I experienced no pain at all during the op - nor afterwards; a fleeting experience of minor discomfort only. Remember to take your sunglasses with you, for you’re about to enter a (very) bright new world. If you already use eye drops of any kind, make sure you have a new supply for post-op care - and a new pack of sterile swabs. For me, the outcome has has been absolutely brilliant.

I had a spoke 3 years ago and struggle with certain things the staff were fantastic and went above and beyond to make the process as easy as possible. I'm in a wheel chair and they accommodated me and my chair when doing all the test. Thank you for making the process as easy as possible

My experience at Spamedica in Truro exceeded all my expectations. The appointment for my initial assessment was lengthy but incredibly well choreographed. I was introduced to various members of the team whilst moving from room to room with different state of the art pieces of equipment performing different measurements. At every point I was given clear explanations, made to feel comfortable and fully at ease. A week later I attended for the removal of a cataract.This appointment was much shorter than the initial assessment appointment. I was greeted by a friendly member of staff, offered refreshments and every member of staff was friendly, personable and I felt very relaxed. The procedure itself was comfortable, swift and painless. At every stage I was feeling I was in safe and experienced hands. After the procedure I was given very clear instructions on how best to care for my newly operated eye and help prevent any complications. All in all, an incredibly pleasing experience and my eye sight has improved more than I had dreamed it would. I look forward to the second eye being operated on.

being a little concerned about the process for cataract treatment i was given an excellent idea of what was going to happen.was therefore put at ease. what a difference it has made.

From the moment I walked through the door for my assessment the care and attention that I received was first class through to my cataract operation. The staff and Physician could not have been more helpful or caring, I would highly recommend anyone to have their cataract operation, if possibly, at SpaMedica. Thank you all.

Just the.most unexpectedly great experience. The surgical and admin staff go above and beyond to reassure you and make the experience as easy and pleasant as possible. The clinic itself is immaculately clean and quite impressive in it's clean and modernity. I had both eyes operated on over time and now have 20/20 vision. What's more the free coffee and biscuits are divine! I cannot thank everyone at SpaMedica enough.

From my pre-op assessment to the actual cataract operation, I can not praise the service I received and the friendlyness of the staff enough. Very welcoming from the moment I stepped into the building, the building is lovely, airy, light and clean. Was met by the porter to confirm who I was, offered myself and the wife( driver home) a cup of coffee and biscuits while I waited to be seen. I was called in on time for my pre op assessment, All the staff involved in my assessment were very welcoming, friendly and very professional. I was talked through every part of what was going to happen to me during my assessment, which was very reassuring. On finishing my assessment, I was given a date to have my cataract removed ( which happened to be in 4 days time. The day I had the cataract operation again I cannot fault the service I received, fully informing me of what was happening at certain times and the care and compassion from all the staff. Thank you.

I am very very impressed it’s this company I was treated with the utmost respect from the assessment up until I had the op. The staff were friendly helpful and very efficient. I have no worry about having my other eye done Thank you to everyone
