From first entering the door to leaving the clinic, my experience was excellent from all of the staff. Each step was explained to me by the wonderful nurses and surgeon and I was made to feel very comfortable about what was about to happen. The surgeon went through what was about to happen and the procedure itself was quick and pain free. A nurse went through the aftercare with me, answering any queries and the results have been great - no discomfort or pain at all. I can thoroughly recommend Stockton Spa Medica.

I was referred for cataract surgery and was lucky to go to SpaMedica. All the staff were brilliant and continually made you feel at ease amazing people. The surgeon was wonderful factual but compassionate. Cannot fault the whole experience. From referral to operation in just 2 months amazing. (I was offered a cancellation for the surgery which I took)

Couldn’t have better treatment. The staff were brilliant and looked after me very well. The place was easy to find and plenty of car parking. .

My wife visited Stockton in February, and during all visits she was treated well by the friendly and supportive staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they reassured her continously. We are returning for my wife's second eye to the same location. One point for future thought. When we made the appointment we were not able to have a bed assessment for my wife, who has mobility issues, because the theatres were closed,so we had to go to Gateshead the following week. With a lot of effort she managed to get onto the bed but it left her sore afterwards. When we went to Stockton yesterday there was no problem because they produced a step for my wife and she was able to get onto the bed without any problems. Something you could put in your literature for those with mobility issues that would help.

I had cataract surgery to my left eye in February 2023, and only had to wait 2 weeks from my opticians referral which was superb. Everyone was very attentive & the practice was absolutely spotless. The surgery went perfectly, but left me with quite bad redness, so I phoned & was called back by a day doctor who told me what to obtain to relieve this. Would highly recommend SpaMedica to anyone requiring eye surgery.

I was referred to SpaMedica Stockton on Tees by my optician which resulted in laser treatment.They contacted me quickly for assessment and my treatment date was arranged at the end of this appointment.The YAG laser procedure was a very quick and painless operation. The staff are all very friendly and professional and I have no hesitation in recommending SpaMedica.

Have recently had my 2nd surgery and as with the 1st surgery you were put at ease as soon as you arrived. The staff are friendly and very professional, can't thank them enough for their care.

The service was exemplary; I can't praise Spa Medica enough. Even though I am in my mid-50s and perfectly competent, I still appreciated being guided by a member of staff every step of the way from the front door through all the different rooms to surgery and beyond. I was greeted with a cup on tea on arrival and found the waiting areas relaxed and approachable. The process was very efficient, personal, friendly and highly competent. It couldn't have been smoother. It was such a relief to find they don't make a drama out of the procedure - it was so professional, efficient and effective. I would highly recommend this provider to anyone needing cateract surgery.

I had my second cataract op on 14 Feb and everything went just fine, the staff we great as were the staff at Gateshead Branch where I had my first cataract op in Jan.
