Unbelievably fast and efficient system. Patient care first class and surgery was surprisingly quick and pain free. Highly recommended. Everyone from receptionists to nurses to consultants were careful and caring.

From the initial contact to the procedure being carried out was fast and efficient. Could not have asked for better treatment from caring considerate staff all levels along the journey.

my 85yr old mother had a cataract op here. from the pre assessment through to the operation, all staff were outstanding. my mother has some dementia and is profoundly deaf, so hospital appointments and procedures can be overwhelming for her, but everyone, from the chap at the door, helping us in and escorting us to the correct area, reception, nurses and the surgeon, made her experience as relaxed and pleasant as possible. i was able to stay with her until she went in to surgery and she walked back out within 15mins. the surgeon came and updated me personally on how it all went. follow-up instructions on eye drops etc, were given verbally, alongside leaflet information in a goody bag. mum was made to feel special and her whole experience was superb. she wanted to take the chap at the door, home with her. From entering SpaMedica Stockton On Tees all I can say is that every member of staff were exceptional in every way. I was so looked after through each stage that was needed by every member of staff with such wonderful care and can’t thank them enough for looking after me truly 5***** treatment regards Janice Gray

Excellent service from this practice, seen and dealt with within 2 weeks, on the day of the operation I was checked in and began the process, so although the op only takes around 10 minutes I was on site for under 3 hours because of all the procedures that had to be done. Looked after throughout from all the friendly and polite team.

I took my father to an assessment appointment last week. The care and support we received was very good from the outset. The gentleman at the door was courteous and helpful and the appointment was on time. My father was however disappointed that his surgery would not take place for another 5 weeks and has only one eye. Consequently his vision is very limited at present. Finally, on arrival both disabled parking bays were taken. My father is a wheelchair user and struggles to get in and out of the car. We managed, with a struggle to get him out of the car and I then parked up. More disabled bays are needed, whilst we were at Spamedica most patients present had mobility disabilities. The number of disabled bays could be easily increased by converting the 5 bays next to the 2 disabled bays to 3 additional disabled parking spaces.

I had a very positive experience at SpaMedica in Stockton from my preop to my second cataract surgery. The staff were friendly, supportive and knowledgeable. I did not have long to wait for appointments. The service is very efficient and the place was extremely clean. I would definitely recommend SpaMedica to anyone who needs cataract removal.
