The staff are amazing they are kind and friendly and I felt really looked after, I didn’t have to wait very long for an appointment or for my operation which was brilliant it was all done within one week

My cataract treatment experience was much simpler stress free and comfortable than I expected, thanks to the procedure being carried out by all the professional and pleasant staff and surroundings. Thank you all concerned at SpaMedia Chapeltown Sheffield. Great results too, clear sharp vision now in the treated eye.

Can not praise the staff and services enough, before and after the initial assessment and right through to the actual surgery everyone at Spamedica were friendly and caring. The surgery has given me back the ability to do what i enjoy the most which is reading my books. A big thank you to everyone involved...

All staff very friendly and helpful. Whole process very efficient. My eyesight is now excellent, not been as good as this since I was 8, and I’m now 79.

Both my pre operation examination and my cataract operation where carried out in a very informative and caring manner, every part of what would be carried out was explained fully and the friendliness of the staff the nurses and doctors put me at ease so when i went into theatre i was relaxed with no worries , full marks to SpaMedica.

At both my assessment visit and the surgical visit I was made to feel relaxed and in good hands. Everything was explained to me by a team of excellent people, and I had no worries about my care or procedure.

Overall the staff where very good and accommodating, I did find the surgeon a little aggressive with the operation in comparison to one I had done in Barnsley Hospital. Would I recommend Spamedica, yes. Communication was good, setting up the assessment and date of the Cataract removal was also quick with very little waiting time.

From 1st examination at Newark to treatment at Shefield including transport the experiance was 1st rate and I was delt with caringly and all thing were explained very well . Iwould recomend Spa Medica to anyone

I had been looking forward to cataract replacement for some years having had increasing difficulty in reading and driving at night. I finally received a referral from the optician and chose SpaMedica at Chapeltown because I had received good reports from previous patients and there was a short waiting list. The consultation day was very well organised and I was offered a date for the operation the following day. However, I chose an appointment three days later in order to prepare fully for the operation. On the day, everything went very well and more or less to time. The longest wait was for the dilation drops to work but the actual operation was very quick, completely painless and, believe it or not, I actually felt myself falling asleep even though the procedure can’t have taken much more than ten minutes. The consultant and staff in the theatre were brilliant, chatty, informative and caring. The after op briefing was very comprehensive and I was given a date for the post-op consultation two weeks later. The whole experience was very good and I look forward to having my right eye corrected shortly.
