Had cataract treatment at Preston staff and clinicians patient and understanding immediately put me at ease surgery no problem. Even looked after my wife on the wait for treatment to finish. Would certainly recommend to anyone considering this clinic. Easy parking an acces pleasant location if you arrive early.

The thought of the op was very daunting. Except for the initial check in, the whole experience was very frightening, you are just a number, talked at and not too, given rushed and at times stressed aggressively, instructions and no reassurance about the process. During the procedure nobody spoke to you, you’re wide awake not knowing what was happening to you trying to keep calm and not move, whilst others in the room are having their own conversations! The most hellish experience I have had in a long long time. Please, please have some consideration for people who are nervous and frightened, perhaps have someone with the patient to reassure and explain what is going on, what’s happened to basic nursing care? I have been told I have a cataract in my other eye and already I am dreading having to go through this again!

It was a very good service.From the moment i walked through the door for my pre assessment to leaving with my procedure complete, i was very relaxed.This was all down to the staff. clean friendly efficient

From entering the clinic I was treated with care from the wonderful staff and the brilliant surgeons who all put me at ease. If I had to attend this clinic again, I would know that I would be in professional hands.

I went for a cataract assessment on the 12th March, booked in for surgery the next day, 13th March. Everyone from reception, nurses and surgeons, really lovely and welcoming, reassuring and very efficient. I would recommend SpaMedica to anyone. I didn't know what to expect and it was a really calming experience.

Efficient, thorough, very friendly. Immediate confidence in the clinical staff and results bear out their skill. First surgery within 10 days of referral , second expected within 6 weeks!

Had both eyes done at this marvellous eye hospital,nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful staff.I was treated with total respect which is rare nowadays What can I say my treatment from walking through the door to leaving was 100% positive.I advise anyone who is thinking of going here you will not be disappointed

I had my 1st cataract surgery in January and my second in February. The staff from entering the building to the operating room were brilliant. They are so caring and friendly. Thank you Spa Medica
