Spamedica Preston delivered on every level. Swift receipt of an assessment appointment date with in-depth examination and results given on the day. The actual procedure date was given immediately upon concluding the assessment examination and was offered to be carried out within the week. However, due to a standing commitment they were able to offer another appointment to suit my needs. Excellent staff who were professional and caring at each port of call. Can’t praise them highly enough.

When i had my eye test at Specsavers i discovered i had cataracts on both eyes anbd was asked if i wanted to be put foreword for interview by spasmodic and i said yes which took place within 2 weeks , soon after that i was booked in for a cataract operation with transport before and after my right eye was done first and a month later my left and in both operations the procedures were done with such professional and dedicated staff i was truly amazed that both procedures were done within 2 months and the aftercare was also fully explained and eye drops provided to ensure aftercare and follow up is on going until all checks are complete and eyes retested so that i have the correct glasses if needed . I've already recommended Spamedica to a few people! The whole experience was amazing. Such a professional and efficient company. All the staff were kind and caring and the surgery itself was just amazing thanks to the skill of my 2 surgeons. Both men of few words but so gifted. It's natural to be apprehensive prior to surgery but I can assure you that there is nothing whatsoever to be affraid of here. The examinations prior to surgery were also brilliantly executed using state of the art equipment. So efficient it's difficult to put into words! Even the car parking is well catered for....what more could you wish for? And finally......my vision is now better than it has been for years and exactly as prescribed. Simply amazing! Thank you Spamedica.

Within 14 days of being referred by my optician for cataract surgery my cataract operation took place at SpaMedica. At this practice I found everyone to be kind, helpful, thoughtful and efficient and I can’t praise them enough for putting me at my ease, explaining everything at every stage. The op itself was amazing, so quick I was surprised when they said it was done. It took about 10 minutes, there was no pain or discomfort and I would not hesitate to have this surgery on my other eye. All aftercare is explained fully and a booklet and eye drops given before departure. I was out and on my way home within 10 minutes. I would recommend this practice to everyone needing this surgery.

From the moment I was collected by the SpaMedica driver I was felt to feel welcome and reassured. My assessment was carried out by friendly and professional staff who were happy to answer any questions. The procedure was, once again carried out with the similar reassurance, especially the surgeon himself. Prior to commencement he explained the total procedure and the sensations I would feel. At no point did I feel any discomfort. I can and have recommended SpaMedica to people who have been advised of the need to undergo cataract surgery.

My experience at Spa Medica Preston was exceptional, All the staff nurses, doctors and admin were very kind, considerate and friendly putting me at ease during the whole time I was there..I have no worries about going back for my second eye op knowing how I will be taken care of.

From the original assessment to completion of the surgery it was a very positive experience. All the personnel I came into contact with were very professional, pleasant and caring.The facility itself is first class and the procedure well organised.

I choose Spa Medica for cataract surgery on both my eyes, following recommendations from former patients. The attention I received was superb. From the speed of appointments, to the efficiency and friendliness of all the staff; from start to finish, it was exceptional. This is the model the whole of the NHS should strive to follow. I have had both eyes treated this year and the care I have received from the initial assessment through to discharge has been faultless. The team, including the staff who meet and greet, reception staff and the medical and nursing staff are friendly and professional. I had extra risk factors for one of my eyes and the after-care was phenomenal; weekly check ups and a real person to speak to on the phone if needed. The results have been wonderful; my distance vision is back to perfect so I only need reading glasses now. Thank you Spa Medica Preston.
