Thank you all so much the staff are friendly helpful and informative made the whole experience as easy as it possibly could be. I would reckon to anyone everything was explained so well by staff that tried to make you feel as relaxed as possible. The day I had the surgery was as straightforward as the day I had the assessment, you knew exactly what was happening and when it was going to happen.

Had to wait around 16 weeks from initial assessment but was so grateful to get my appt. Felt very organised and the nursing staff were amazing and explained everything. Only disappointing factor was I felt the surgeon was unfriendly.

At last, a dedicated-team of professionals of which I received a second cataract removal, they gave me a complete experience and comforting feeling of team play and professionalism any worries that I may have had prior to the procedure were duly dismissed. I would also like to thank the surgeon and his team for their excellent work and I can now see clearly again. Many Thanks David Lang-Norris

I have recently had cataract surgery at Spa Medica Peterborough. I have nothing but good words to describe my experience. They have been caring and professional, they explained all the steps and on the day all staff were excellent. I would like to thank my surgeon and his team for taking such good care of me.

My experience at SpaMedica was absolutely brilliant. I was referred to them by my optician and from the minute I arrived I found the Staff to be very friendly, welcoming and extremely professional which immediately put me at ease. My friend who dropped me there and myself were offered coffee on arrival. When I went through to be assessed for cataract surgery the whole experience was very professional and slick, there was no waiting around and I was very impressed. A couple of weeks after the assessment I returned for the cataract surgery, obviously feeling a bit nervous but I need not have worried, again everyone who was involved in preparing me was so courteous, kind and lovely. The surgeon was incredible and did an amazing job, I didn’t feel a thing and I can’t thank him and the whole team enough. I am so pleased with the outcome of this operation and I’m not a bit worried about going back to have the other eye operated on, hopefully in the next few weeks. I would like to thank all the staff at SpaMedica for their hard work in ensuring patients get the best pain free experience with such an amazing outcome.

The first appointment was punctual, efficient and very smoothly organised. The second appointment which was for the actual operation was equally efficient. Everything was explained in detail, before and after the procedure and I have no worries about having a second procedure carried out.

I was very worried and anxious about what would happen, but from my pre-assessment appointment to actual day of surgery, I felt well informed and cared for. The day of my operation was brought forward and the care I received was second to none, from the person in reception to the discharge nurse everyone I came into contact with was very kind caring and reassuring. Please pass on my thanks. My only suggestion to improve patient experience would be for the ward area to be warmer. Otherwise I am perfectly happy with my experience with SpaMedica Peterborough
