From the moment you arrive, All staff are very helpful and make you feel welcome and at home. As you go through the various stages the staff tell you what is going on and answer any questions that you may have. The day of surgery is calm and well controlled which puts you at ease. The process is quick and painless. The discharge process is also quick where everything is explained to you for the post operative. You are supplied with everything you require and walked through every step of the procedure when you arrive at home. Well done SpaMedica, Excellent.

The cataract operation was excellent and my vision improved within days of the operation. The staff were very supportive throughout the whole procedure and surgeon was first class.

All of the staff are friendly and helpful while being very professional, they helped me feel at ease as I was anxious about the operation. Everything was explained fully at each stage of the process so I felt confident with what was happening.

Felt in good hands from the first appointment and was looked after with confidence and caring. All the staff were pleasant and did all they could to allay any worries or fears over the surgery.

I was there for over three hours for initial consultation. On day of op I was there for three and a half hours before going into theatre, which is very stressful. Other local clinics give you the first set of drops to put in at home and you can be in and out in around an hour. Why can you not do this? The surgeon did not make me feel at ease at all but the other staff were lovely, calm and encouraging.

Great staff yes. However was made to sit 1.5 Hours in the waiting room before I got fed up and asked how long I would be. The lady next to me had sat there for 2 Hours. Not good to not be told. not be informed. I appreciate there was an emergency but we need to be told how long the wait is as we have people picking us up. My surgery was in the end very painful as had asked twice for it to be stopped. But no it wasn't. Was like a knife going into my eye. Wore dark sunglasses for a week , on paracetamol every day for the pain. Then the list of aftercare was many and most 2/ 4 weeks. Driving was a few days ! Total madness. I didn't drive for 1 week. In charge of machinery ! Specsavers said you can drive with 1 eye ! Would like to know if Insurance companies would pay out in the event of an accident..I very much doubt it. That rule needs to be changed for the safety of every car driver. Also Specsavers need to know that too. I am most concerned now about the other eye being operated on this summer ( awaiting appt )& hope it won't be as bad as the 1st operation and not kept waiting. Please contact me to discuss. As said great staff but my concerns need to be noted. Thank you.

I had 2 appointments. The first as a review of my surgery and then the actual surgery. Both of the appointments were on time. The clinic was very clean. More important though the staff from the Reception staff to the nursing staff were kind and sensitive to me and my anxiety. Everything was done efficiently but compassionately. It was also amazing to only have a very short wait to get my operation date.

All staff very friendly , make you feel at ease. Get you hot drink and biscuits . The whole place has a lovely ambience about it. Everyone really friendly even the surgeon.
