This was my second cataract surgery and as pain free as the first. If I had three eyes I'd be having that done as well. All in all a great team of people from reception to the surgeon. Highly recommended!

Whilst I was dreading having eye surgery the process could not have been better. Each member of the team from reception staff, diagnostics, assessment and through to surgical were excellent! I feel I’m in good hands as I undergo further check ups and the second eye surgery. Thank you

I've only got one eye so understandably I was very nervous of having cataract surgery, absolutely no need to have worried, the staff at Spa Medica Kendal are fantastic, the medical team and surgeon are brilliant. My eyesight is now amazing, I can't thank everyone involved enough for giving me my sight back. Your all very special people.

I'm never happy with people dealing with my eyes, all the staff were understanding and careful to put me at ease. Any questions were answered promptly in a manner I could easily understand. The surgeon took extra care due to a previous injury, cannot fault any part of my experience

Both my visits were efficiently managed. The consultation was timely and very informative. The surgery was prompt and managed really well. I was treated in a very short space of time. Minimal discomfort. In fact, no pain, but I didn’t realise how bright a light in the eye could be!

I was extremely anxious regarding my cataract surgery although the speed in being referred to then having the operation was only two weeks. The staff picked up on my anxiousness the minute I walked through the doors and reacted immediately, they were so caring. I was given a small Diazepam tablet when the Consultant arrived and once this got into my system I was able to proceed successfully with the surgery. It was over with quickly, in about ten minutes with no pain at all. The consultant was wonderful and very aware of how nervous I was, he and the rest of the theatre staff reassured me every step of the way and a lovely theatre nurse held my hand too, it’s these little things that make the difference if your scared. The pre-op and post op nursing staff were all lovely too. Just got to wait for my next op but I won’t be as anxious this time. Thank you SpaMedica Kendal, you are an exemplary service.
