I was extremely nervous never having any previous operations on my eyes. As soon as I entered the building I was put at ease from the reception onwards. The nurses went far beyond their duty to help and assist you. I was feeling only slightly nervous when I entered the operation theatre. The staff and surgeon allayed the last of my fears, and the operation was over before I realised it. I left feeling very pleased about the whole experience and with lots of aftercare information. I wouldn’t hesitate to have any further eye operations in this hospital. And that is from a very nervous patient who had initially considered having some form of medication to help me cope with the operation. I was so pleased I decided to not to have any medication as it wasn't needed at all.

I have just had cataract surgery done and can't believe the difference it has made, every thing is brighter and I can see TV and can even read some books without my glasses. I was very apprehensive about having the surgery done but I can honestly say it's the best thing I have done. From the very first visit I was very well looked after, from the porters on the door to the surgeons carrying out the replacement lens everyone was very helpful and made me feel very much at ease. The clinic itself is very clean and modern and I had no hesitation in having the second eye done just 6 weeks later. Thank you for all your care

From initial assessment to surgery 6 days. Wow. To be told you have cataracts at 54 was a shock, but the people at SpaMedica looked after me. Each and every person so friendly, smiley and happy, from the security guys to the surgeon. I was made comfortable at every turn of my journey. Today is the day after surgery and I can see through this eye like it is ultra hd. I have a little discomfort but nothing to what I thought it would be. I've worn glasses since I was 20 and now even though I've only had 1 eye done, I can see without them, it's amazing. I can't wit to have the other one done.

The whole team was excellent. The surgeon was outstanding and told me what he was doing every step of the way which was very reassuring. Very quick and efficient. Would highly recommend. Thank you for looking after me so well and for reassuring me.

This was the second visit for my husband, from the moment we entered the building we were greeted warmly & in a friendly manner, we were also offered refreshments, gratefully received after our journey. My husband said that the medical staff were all fantastic, he was introduced to the Drs undertaking his operation & was given the opportunity to ask any question before & after the procedure. The nursing staff were marvellous, very friendly, discuss the follow up care needed & the do's & don'ts in daily activities. All of the staff were approachable, very caring & professional, thank you

From the minute you walked in you were made to feel at ease. All the staff from the porters to the surgeon were very reassuring and couldn’t do enough for you. Excellent setup

The guys on the door made me feel at ease the moment I stepped through the door made me a cuppa, all the nurses and staff where very friendly and gave me all the help I needed explained everything to me thank you all so very much

Would definitely recommend this hospital sp professional clean & tidy staff are so welcoming. Makes me feel at ease boing I have to come back for my other eye done

The staff are very friendly and well coming tea and coffee biscuits are free help yourself to water every person I seen were friendly the lady who did my operation on my cataract made me at ease operation didn’t hurt only took 10 minutes I would recommend spa medica to people thank you to all the staff
