On my three visits to SparMedica Gateshead, from the Meet and Greet Staff to the Discharge Nurse everyone was re-assuring and helpful. Following the operation I cannot believe the difference in my sight. I am most grateful to each and everyone. Thank you

I have just had my second cataract surgery and the experience was even better than the first (and that was fantastic!). Going for surgery on your eyes is a very scary thing and every single member of staff makes you feel calm, confident and reassured from the second you arrive. The procedure is quick, totally painless and the team in the theatre, again, put you totally at ease. The aftercare is excellent and I would wholeheartedly recommend this clinic to anyone! Thank you , SpaMedica!

From start to finish everyone was so helpful and friendly. The procedure was explained and I was taken care of throughout which made me feel at ease. The clinic is lovely with a range of facilities

Had a right cataract removed on 30.11.2023.all the personell were very kind,patient,cheerful and spotless. I have never has such a easy time with the occasion, no rush take your time. Also very quick- picked up 9am by transport, at spaselecta at 9.45am after all the experience cut of coffee and biscuits and home again by 12 30pm. Everything explained and left relaxed and pleased all over. Great thanks to everyone involved. Merry Christmas to all.

Had right cateract op Nov 2023, had left eye cateract op Dec 2023, just had 2nd 4 week check on both eyes Jan 16th 2024, been discharged, eyes wonderful. Cannot fault it, beautiful spotless building, with the friendliest & most professional staff you could wish for, if you’re feeling apprehensive about an “eye op” then don’t, in my eyes, (sorry for the pun), it was a pleasant experience all round, highly recommended.
